My First Dinner for 4
This is a long day. Cooking prepartaions started from 10am. It is very challenging for me to prepare a meal for 4 : My parents, my sister and myself. So I decided not to do something risky. It's better to start from making some simple dishes such as:
Menu
1) Meat pie
2) Steamed egg
3) Fried veggie
4) Steamed bean curd with prawns
5) Tomato & potato soup.
By the way, this is also the first lunch box I have ever made for myself. It's no longer from my mom. ha ha ha.

Kenting Video
Finally, I have completed this mission. There were so many photos from everyone, it took me 2 days to sort the best shots, put them in the right sequence, and finally created the video. I am still learning, hope to get some improvements next time.

Christmas Deco @ Harbour City
The christmas decorations at Harbour City is less beautiful compared with the ones in the past! But still, the place was filled with locals and tourists. It was difficult to shoot beacuse you can easily find people in your frame. Anyway, it was an early celebration for my favourite festival, Christmas.

Meat Ball Spaghetti & Mushroom Soup
Meanwhile, the meat ball spaghetti is very nice indeed. I think the key of success lies in the quality of the meat balls, they are very tasty and juicy. 好有成功感!!
Taiwan Tour (Part 5 - Taipei)
We stayed at Dandy Hotel this time, and it is so popular amongst Japanese tourists. There are many Japanese restaurants nearby the hotel. We stayed at the best room type on the first night, but we had to move to a smaller room the other day because all the rooms with balcony were fully booked. I like the hotel's design and attention to details and its staff who had made our stay a pleasant one.
Taiwan Tour (Part 4 - Yang Ming Shan)
We did not expect this is such a large mountain! We did hiking for 3 hours in slippers!!! Our legs were so sore the other day. We also went to the most famous restaurant here, The Top, for dinner. It was the most expensive dinner we had in this trip, the food was so-so, and the view was ok but not as beautiful as the view in Hong Kong. Our long day was ended with a soothing hot spring at the hotel. The hot spring water is grey in colour, and the water is from Yang Ming Shan.
Taiwan Tour (Part 3 - Kee Lung)
As per suggestion by the hoetl receptionist, we went to Kee Lung Night Market for dinner after the visit to Jiu Fen. We felt that there are more items offered at the night market compared to Shi Lin Night Market. We were so full that night!!!
On the way to the Bus Station, we saw a lady with a pig. She is doing pig walk in the down town. The pig has got attention from me and many little girls.
Taiwan Tour (Part 2 - Jiu Fen)

When we first arrived, the weather was very bad in Taiwan with grey sky & drizzle. We were so lucky that the sun had come out on the day we planned to go to Jiu Fen.
The town is up in the mountain, and we took the bus from 忠孝復興站 and we reached there within 45 minutes. It is really a very popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The place was so packed, and it was very difficult to walk through the alleys.
We sat down at a nice tea house overlooking the sea and mountains. and we left jiu fen after taking a lunch in an old restaurant.
Taiwan Tour (Part 1 - Hua Lien)
Recommended by Irena, we went to Hua Lien for one night. Unlike the previous shopping trips in Taiwan, we decided to do more sightseeing this time. A lot of people said that the scenery there was great, and it is very true after you have been there. In fact, Taroko National Park (太魯閣國家公園) is the 5th most beautiful national park in the world.
We stayed at the Grand Formosa Taroko Hotel, it is the only hotel right in the mountain. We arrived the hotel very late, and we managed to take our dinner before the restaurant closed. We went to the western restaurant where half buffet was served. We were so upset that there was a group of wetsren tourists (we believe they are Germans) who have finished all the food on the buffet counters!
We had a half day tour and after that we hired a taxi driver to take us to all the attractions in Hua Lien before we board the train at 5pm. It was a very long day but we were very happy because we took a lot of great pictures.

Taiwan Business Trip
It's been a tough experience to fly when you have a flu. When you are landing, the air pressure in the ear would cause serious pain. Luckily, i managed the pain this time.
We are organizing a Dubai Workshop for media and trade at the Grand Formosa Regent Hotel in Taipei. This is the first time I stayed here. It is actually a good hotel with a perfect location. Previously, we stayed in Grand Hyatt or Far Eastern Plaza, their locations are not comparable to Grand Formosa.
We are located very close to Zhong Shan Station, and the shopping mall is just 5-10 mins walk from our hotel, although we have not much time to shop......

Nikon D90
ho ho ho! I finally got the second hand D90 tonight from Ah Lun. In order not to get two D90s under one roof, he decided to get D300. Now he is only having the body, and soon he will get the lens after he got recommendations from friends.
We bought the camera in Mongkok, and what a coincidence, the sales is one of his friends he met at the motorbike garage.

Dubai Press Tour - Day 5

This is the last day in Dubai. Our tour was ended with a French meal with lots of quality & authentic desserts! We decided to burn our calories at the water park in the afternoon. It was so much fun, and it again recalled my fond memories at the Ocean Park Water Park, and i kept puzzling why it was closed????
Aquaventure's signature ride is called the Leap of Faith. When you looked at it, it is almost vertical. It took me a long time to have such a courage to take the jump. When you sit at the start of the slide, you actually cannot see the floor, what you can see is an open sky. It simply tells you that it is very high from the floor. To be exact, the slide is 27.5m high. It's like you are jumping out from a building.
I asked the staff to give me a gentle push, so I was at the bottom of the pool after 4-5 seconds. It was very exciting, and I am glad it did try it.
