In order not to disturb baby's sleep, we do let the delivery guy to send the boxes to my home address. Kailan was barking seriously in the past. Because of this, my work place has been the collection point.

Shopping
Shopping in traditional term has become a luxury for me after having a baby. We both do a lot of online shopping lately.
This is the scene I came back to the office the first day after the week long holiday. It's all the fault of Black Friday sales!! These are the orders from the whole family! Ranging from books to tees to jacket! Everyone is happy in the house.

Halloween outfit making - salmon sushi (2015)
I wanted to make one for megan instead of buying the ready made ones. I am not sure if I still have the energy and interest to do this next year, but at least do it this year. 
Tin Tin is also very interested to help. She helped me to make the big pillow cover fitting the small pillow. 
Mommy is proud but tired, time to go to bed after intensive sewing.

Good idea to start from the rear part of sushi. 
We should have put the cushion higher to offset the gravity of cushion. Hopefully, I will get more experienced next year.
I picked three designs for Ah Lun's comments. He picked sushi instead of octopus and strawberry. I would need a buy a white body suit from H&M first. And then I bought an orange pillow cover to be salmon. I just need some white tapes and a black cloth, that's all.
Everything is ready. It's needlework class at 9pm.

Aiden boots
It's not only me who shop from JCrew. This is such a big box! 
Well it's a famous pair of shoes called Aiden. This is a special edition crossed over with JCrew. He has been waiting this for months. 
Nice colour, attention to details, classic shapes. He will wear them for life.

I have never bought shoes that are so expensive, USD480, but we felt that these are master art pieces.

PR Agency of the Year
Yeah! This is the third time we got the gold award, and we are the only PR agency to be in the top 3 in the last 5 years. 
I always picked a messy hairdo. This is what I like. Simple and messy. 
That was the moment!! 
The stage is gonna collapsed. 50 people on stage. 
Gold trophy in my hands. Heavy! 
Well organized. After-party is just upstairs. Private-hire!! Wonderful! 
Boss took a nice camera to get a shot of everyone. Perfect lighting. 
The celebration ended with a personalized trophy for every staff. 
Looking so much uglier on Monday than Friday night. Haha. Coming back to reality.
Boss had ordered 5 tables and celebrated the evening with all staff.
It's a well planned evening, free styling service, pre-dinner drinks and pizza, coach transfer to venue, after-party, and post-award Choco trophy for every staff including interns. Our boss is so good at these. All his hard work paid off and everyone had a nice time.

Going to pick up my pair of clogs on a yellow rain day. It worths all my time as the shoes look really cute. 
They claim to be footwear crafted in Sweden since 1860
Loving this pair because they are not showing my toes. After being a mom, I don't have time to do manicure or pedicure...
The shape is cute. The lines are clean. They are made from leather and wood, two materials I adore. They are wearable art in my eyes.

I am very lucky to have a friend who ordered it for me online. This bucket bag was a big hit in New York since last year. The small factory only produces batch by batch. I wanted to have it in 2014. All were sold out. The bags will only be restocked in March 2015. I tried once ordering it, and I failed and gave up. Suddenly my friend told me that she ordered it successfully for me!! That's the best reward for my busy work lately. Just made my day. 
It's so pretty and not over-priced!! The lines are so clean. It's also functional.
Picking it up by placing an urgent courier order
Using it in my Dubai trip. When I checked in at the airport, the airline staff said "you could bid it?!" I thought no one in Hong Kong knows about this bag... Her friend bid it at HKD8000 which is actually a double of the original price.

Her mini wardrobe
I got all these at a summer sale from seed heritage. So they are a bargain. The shop offers really neutral and cool design. Their clothes are not too feminine which fit my taste.
By the way, this collection is already good enough for a new born...so I have stopped buying outer wear for her. Just need to buy something for her to wear at home.

A super duper Saturday!! (May 24)
First of all, I got a nice hair cut and treatment to my messy hair!
Its simple, pretty, classy and stylish. Just like Jcrew!
We start with a pottery class. It's so much fun. I made Kailan and two fishes. I want to make more but we were running out of time. 
Following the pottery class, we started a nice dinner there. Nice set-up which is great for our chat!

Even though I need to work on a ppt in between the waiting time, it's an efficient cut! I always hate waiting at the salon wasting time.
Before heading to the clinic for acupuncture, I made a stop at JCrew, the first store in Asia in fact.
Located at IFC, great addition to the mall.
Beautiful wall deco at the changing room corner. There's a cute puppy drawing there.
All purchase in the first few days after opening will come with a bunch of flowers. Such a nice and classy gift!
After that, we are going to celebrate Cat's wedding/birthday, and Connie's and Joyce wong's birthdays.
We arranged a ceremony for cat to 金盆洗手。

Got my rain boots finally...
Since March, Ah Lun has been asking me to buy rain boots. I have been rejecting since then. 
But I decided to buy them after encountering the recent black rain signal. The weather in HK is getting extreme these days! The flooding is really bad.
Finally, I got my boots yesterday at HUNTER.
Lucky that my legs are long enough to carry HUNTER's long boots. They are so pretty (though they are a bit heavy).

Flip-flops for summer time!
One pair of flip flops of Ah Lun had been broken, so we went to Havianna shop to buy a new pair.

Ah Lun's pair is so interesting. Two patterns in one pair. I love the colour clash in my pair too. Not too loud but they are pretty enough!!

Destress
Sometimes I need a shopping spree as a reward for a stressful week. On Saturday, the weather was so nice and I feel that the summer season will soon arrive. Therefore, I have to go shopping for my lovely summer!
They are so comfy though they are heels. The left pair have cushion in the front part so you can imagine how comfortable when u walk.
Visiting Anton is my last stop of the shopping your!
My first stop is COS because it's just next to my acupuncture place. How can I miss that. I love shopping on my own indeed, spending time in and out of the fitting room in a not so busy shop.
Following that, I am visiting Anton in Times Square. And I accidentally made a large purchase in the shop Camper before I met her. Because of my feet sizes, I cannot buy a lot of shoes like many other girls. So when there is a size and they are good-looking and comfy, I could spend good money on that. But I cannot imagine I would buy 3 pairs of camper shoes in one day. I love the left pair most. I always wanted buy a similar design this year but the ones I tried in Zara were totally an eye sore and foot sore.
My state of mind will go balanced for a while because I feel a bit guilty now on the shopping now. But all the items I bought are so pretty, I should not feel too bad.
The red pair is cute and retro too. I once tried to find one pair on wooden clog, but this pair would make the same look without hurting myself. I am so stupid with handling clog. My feet will slide out and then make me fall.
I bought the last pair on the right because I will get a discount if I buy three pairs. Like the way they look more formal and they will fit some of my corporate looks. Unusual heels too, but they cannot be captured in this angle.

Eeyore's new outfit
We love black and white (eg. Kailan our dog), but we also love grey (eg. Eeyore).
I bought a grey tee sweater for Ah Lun on my weekend shopping trip, and this is how I presented the gift. This is how I found happiness even if I am alone.
Giggling when I set this up. Poor eeyore! But that's so Eeyore!!
