It's been a long while I have not shared jokes here. 

Ah Lun has always been funny and it's good to be with him. He's especially good in teasing me when I am under tremendous stress. 

A few days ago...the temperature was so low that it's only 3 degrees in Tsing Yi. 

That Sunday night, he said, lucky you, you don't need to go out tomorrow (Monday). I said why?? 

He said it's just announced the school for retarded kids will be closed due to extreme weather.

Megan is also bringing us so many jokes these days. She knows a lot of things now, but just don't know how to speak. 

Lately, she wanted to touch the heater. Tin tin says it's hot. The next thing she did was to blow the heater. When we are serving meals to Megan, we said it's hot. We and Megan will blow to the food to cool it down. That's the action she associated with the word hot. It's so cute 

Second Interview - Cannan Kindergarten Kowloon Tong

Megan was asked to attend an interview on the coldest day. 

She was a bit shy in the new environment. She did not cry though, she just kept quiet and kept looking around. She enjoyed people watching actually, so the teachers asked a lot of questions, she just turned away, haha. 

Never mind, this is just an eye opening experience for her. 

She looked so cool. I got her shirt and leggings at a very discounted price from Muji Dubai. The down jacket is from Gap last year. 

But when we are out, her pretty outfit was covered up, haha. She was so excited after the interview. I will do more warm up next time. 

Such a big campus. We are waiting for Ah Lun to pick us up. 

There will be another interview on the coming Saturday. Good luck Megan. 

最窩心的湯

Ah Lun made the soup for me before he's off for midnight work. 

It's so sweet to come home to see the soup after a long long stressful day. 

Most importantly, this soup is super powerful in curing our serious cough. 

Really grateful and I cannot thank him more.

After that, it's good to see Megan sleeping soundly. It's good to go to bed with such a full heart. 

Racing Night 2016

January is a terribly busy month. Our company's annual event is happening in Jan this year, but I was also engaged in a business trip in Dubai. 

I think my life has not been busier ever. 

The support system at home is in place to make me feel better. 

I finally got really sick after my hectic Dubai trip, because 2 nights out of 3 in my trip, we were splitting sleep on the plane and in the hotel. Let's say 3hrs on the plane, 4hrs in the bed, then straight to start breakfast meeting at 7:30am. It seems that 2016 will be a challenging year. 

Anyway, Racing Night was over finally last night, it's time catching up with other client work. 

Corporate and digital team, so big now. 

Racing Night committee... Biggest ever in my racing night history. 

We have an in-house designer now, so all the collaterals and production items were arranged by her. Things are much prettier and holistic. 

Boss looked like the fortune teller we are hiring. He's doing a forecast for me. 

Core team. Three of us covering each other. Great team work. 

Celebrating the year of monkey. This is my idea, and it's executed nicely. Happy!

Jealous!! I wish I have free time in the afternoon to play with Megan. Papa is taking her out to the park after the rainy weekend. 

She always wear blue because mom loves it!! 

You are my sunshine!

Omg! I really missed my family in Dubai. Especially when ah Lun and tin tin told me that Megan was looking for me and saying mama everywhere she goes on the next morning after I have left. It's heartbreaking and I have tears in my eyes when I got their messages. 

Luckily, my boss is also a mom, so we try to complete the trip asap. In the end, we just had three nights and two of three nights were on the plane. 

Just because of the lack of sleep, I was a bit under the weather. Hope I get well before the weekend so I am in a good shape to spend my time with Megan over the weekend.

They are my sunshine! Really missing them so much this round. A meal with my family can light up my day so much.

After our lunch-dinner at 4pm, Megan was back home. Kailan just enjoyed staying with her. Kailan is her 書僮.

Back to work tomorrow, and there are so much work to do. But no worries, weekend will come very soon. 

2016 business trip #1

Hello Dubai! I miss you but I am missing my family more. 

It's really hard to leave Megan now, as she's very clingy to me. Serious crying in the afternoon when I left home for airport and Ah Lun for work. Not sure if that's part of the side effect of vaccine taken yesterday. 

It will be the shortest trip to Dubai ever. 2-day meetings in Dubai and we are spending two nights on the plane. 

Well, they booked both of us on business class, first time I don't need to email EK office asking for an upgrade. Cheers! 

However, the nightmare arrived after check-in. Cannot believe there's still such an old fashioned hotel in Dubai. 

I do not stay in fancy hotels all the time. 

Back to the 80s! I don't want to sit over there. 

It's close to 5am in the mid night in HK. I had nothing to do but to take a look of my daughter from the IP camera. 

Tasmanian Cherries - 43degree South

I know sister in law always buy great cherries from the fruit wholesaler. I wanted to join them this winter, but I was given the cherries as a gift!! So happy because I love cherries very much. 

They are really big and texture is firm. They are not too sweet, which is good. 

This is the best brand

They are so pretty!

A good start in 2016

We had been discussing about changing our car. We love boxy cars, and after evaluating the car's exclusivity, value in money and reliability, we have chosen Toyota FJcruiser. 

It's made in Japan and very rare in the market. It's so bulky that I think only tall couples like us will carry it well. 

The car seller is a guy not too tall and he said his wife does not like this huge car. I can totally understand why, because this is really high compared to normal car. 

Ah Lun said the car can be washed with a water hose, as everything is waterproof. Love the design of the doors,  so easy to put baby into the rear of the car. 

We had been discussing about this car for a long time. I always asked ah Lun to meet the car first. At the first meeting, we just bought it. Haha. That's the style of Mr and Mrs Tse. 

The 15-min deal happened in Cheung sha wan on Dec 28, 2015. Ah Lun was checking the car with the seller in the front. 

The deal was a real bargain. At least we had saved $80,000 from buying from the car dealers. Nice and polite car seller indeed. 

Today, Ah Lun picked up the car and I got a ride tonight after work. 

I was working late. When I saw our dream car, I got tears in my eyes, just felt very touched that I had so many milestones with his man - owning a great flat, had a lovely baby and now owning a dream car together. We cannot be more grateful. 

Wednesday date #3 - Jan 6

Such a busy week before my business trip to Dubai. But I wanted to keep our Wednesday date as much as possible, so we were not bathing Megan that day. 

When we were out, we just missed our baby at the same time enjoying our romantic date.

I needed to cook today. Luckily, tin tin prepared the frozen meals for me. That would make my life easier. 

So many food choices for Megan. They are colorful too. She enjoyed the whole meal and feeding herself with spoon. 

Mama felt great to see clean plate. 

Cleared everything except the last few pieces of peach. 

Let's bully Kailan before sleep. She loves disturbing Kailan's sleep and move her pillow elsewhere. Haha. Poor Kailan.

It's a lunch wedding, so it unfortunately clashes with Megan's sleeping schedule, so we were attending the wedding without her.
