Too many hobbies but too little time

One day, I visited Geninne's blog, one of the bloggers in my IE's favourite sites under the ART folder. She had been so kind to teach people how to make hand crafted stamps. After some serious reading, I bought all the required tools and trying to make one at home. Unfortunately, the rubber i bought at the art shop in Hong Kong was too hard to sculpt, and then all my tools sit in my cabinet.

One day, I visited Fanny's blog and knew that she attended a rubber stamp workshop in Taiwan. I was so excited, and my passion for making myself rubber stamp is back!

One day, when i just landed Taipei, i saw the rubber stamp book standing in front of me in elite book store. I was thrilled, and decided to make one when I am back!!

Hurray! This is my first handmade rubber stamp. I still need to practice more. I have to say the stamp making process made my eyes sore!

Sigh! I have too many hobbies but too little time. I always complain my weekend is too short.

Lantern Festival on 17 Feb evening made me speechless! Feeling glad that i was there.

Cing Jing (清境) near Taichung

It was a depressing weekend because it was raining most of the time. I managed to enjoy watching the sheep under the rain. I could imagine the mountain could be so beautiful in summer time.

Irena drove us to this little village on Sunday, it's quite far away from down town. It was so crowded as it has become an attraction for both locals and tourists.

Extremely colourful and creative drawings on the walls and even on the floor...

It was a really quiet town in my view point, especially i am coming from the city of life!!

Get a feel of the city from this snap. For your information, most people drive in this city, and there's no metro and very few public buses. I only saw one bus during my 3-day visit.

2011 Business Trip #1 - Taipei & Taichung

The seminar taking place in Taichung was one of the highlights of the trip. My friend, Irena, from Taichung recommended me to hold the seminar at Hotel One. To my surprise, the hotel's meeting facilities and services are both very good.

The room was located on the 27th floor of the building with a stunning view of the city.

I always like to have the small round table setting (instead of classroom/theatre setting) to give them a more cozy and informal feel.

Gloria loves egg rolls so much thus I incorporated a few of them into the cake. Haha!
Gloria said she loves it very much and would like to display on the desk for 10 days.

Baking Day before Valentines' Day

阿倫愛吃，更愛甜品。

tiramisu 及焦糖雞蛋布丁都已經做過給他吃，我今次想試下蘋果批。

他每次去麥記都會吃蘋果批，而去starbucks就吃cinnamon roll. 所以有cinnamon 的蘋果批就應該很合他的胃口。

為了迎合不愛surprise的阿倫，我不得不說我的點子。我的確很為此很不爽！

anyway, 這個大龍鳳就在芥蘭的打擾下完成。

青蘋果6個只賣6元，因為每個都有少少爛，但我只用少許，所以完全沒有問題，還讓我感到超值的感覺，正。

蘋果加了糖，麵粉，cinnamon，非常簡單！

本來的idea是心形，可是city super所有的心形cookie cutter都售罄。

於是我選擇了我的至愛 --- 花花形狀。

一片混亂！

同樣，我的iphone一機都是粉。

太可愛了！比起一般的格子花紋，實在kawaii得多。

我愛做蘋果批，因為我好像在做手工一樣，得到的滿足感比做tiramisu及雞蛋布丁更大！

有沒有看到隨意的小花芯?

黃色的焗盤則是很久很久之前在台北的生活工房買的，現在才第一次用。

從櫃底找到的心形餅模，應下節！

不好意思，又是第一次用。

究竟我的櫃子還存了些什麼?

大功告成！

先焗的一盤火候控制得不好，所以花花不美。
有了經驗之後，心形的一個就比較好看。

我終於忍不住買了聖誕節送給二家組的cookie letter press。

二家姐做的cookie太多牛油了，所以字體不明顯。

我決定今天也要完成這個烙有字母的cookies!

CNY 2011 初三

初三是全天BFF聚會，緊密的行程是由Ah Yea編排，不過她最後根本都沒有出現part one的許願樹。所以，緊密的行程就給安排了不愛緊密行程的團友，而因為沒有回程車的安排，我們三人被迫於大埔上演了爭的士的情況。由於其中一人身體一向欠佳，而看護阿萍亦因未能上班，令其餘二人增添了不少無型壓力。

CNY 2011 初二

跟老爺, cici & jeffrey 一起進行了一次狂風掃落葉式的飲茶後，我們去了女家吃開年飯。

阿倫今次真的讓我媽失望了，因為今日吃不到4碗飯，好彩現在有個raymond頂住，一次咁多。

然後我們去了奶奶的家才約momo到西九看煙火。

我們6:30pm已經到了九龍站，但我跟momo一張煙花相也拍不到，卻給一位龍友叔叔指令不耍亂動！還好，我們收起器材後都看到兔仔占造型的煙花。

奇怪的是，能夠成功拍煙花的阿倫說看不見miffy煙火。

我答道是在"初初"發放的。

同志貓卻聽錯了"蒼桑" miffy!

大家都問蒼桑miffy是什麼樣的。

阿倫回答：蒼桑miffy是有鬚根的......(great visual)

CNY 2011 初一

新年一向都是行程緊密，仲累過平時返工。

初一中午第一站回陳家。

媽媽寫的揮春很美，我們都各自在新年前貼在家裡。然而，陳家還有好幾張存貨，我們隨手便拿來作道具。

爸爸媽媽笑得好開心！除了爸爸有幽默感外，陳家二小姐及四小姐都有略有些少搞笑本色。

然後，我與阿倫便約我的老爺一起到西貢天后廟拜神，小狗也在天后娘娘面前的平台亂跑。之後，我們便一行4人3狗到阿倫Grandma家吃飯。

天后娘娘心胸廣闊，恕不追究芥蘭擾亂了她家的秩序。

芥蘭向天后娘娘自求多褔並且衣食無優。

然後扮瀟灑遙望主人，心爆粗口罵主人為何不帶她到濕地玩耍。

狠心的主人不理妻女死活獨自尋歡。

2011繼續花開富貴

我們已經習慣每年年三十到花墟買花，今年有Cici及Jeffrey加入。

是次我們從"繽紛"買了300元的花，另加Tiger Mom前天送給我的王天霸。

太陽花暫時與王天霸同居

這是番鬼佬水仙花，我特地買了2花扎，以水平方式一高一低來arrange, 不過如果有多2扎效果應該好一些。

這是椰菜花，好靚呀！

其實當天真的很迫，全靠阿倫嚇走D人同埋攞好重的花！
