Our Puppy 芥蘭
26 April is a day to remember, because we brought home a puppy! We named it 芥蘭 because:
1) we want to have a Chinese name for our puppy, it's cool
2) we want to have a name that is something out of ordinary, so we are thinking about yummy food...
Other choices include 咸蛋 or 雞脾, but we think 芥蘭 is a good name for puppy girl. This name is proposed by ah lun who is a meat lover......there are many things in the world that cannot be explianed.
We have been talking about having a puppy for a long time, and the shortlisted dogs include jack russell, beagle and french bulldog. Finally we were attracted by this innocent-looking French girl. She is so adorable yet strong. She is like Ah Lun and Meiling who are both strongly built. :)

2009 Business Trip #3 - Jakarta Day 2
Weather is not very nice today, and it's very foggy.
The food we have ordered for the media and travel agents at the hotel tasted really bad. We had not tasted something that bad and i just took one bite of every item. Sigh......
We went out of our hotel to visit the shopping mall after work, and it's not impressive again. no wonder they like Hong Kong so much.
I had another Cold Stone ice cream on my own (after the one i ate in Taipei in Nov 08), it's named "Strawberry Blonde". Strawberry ice cream, with fresh cream, fresh strawberries, crunchy biscuits (not cookies) and the signature waffle cone.
By the way, i hurt myself in the bathroom AGAIN. There was some water on the slippery marble floor, and luckily my bum is acting like a good cushion, and I only got a few bruises on my forearm. Since the bathroom is very spacious, and I could full stretch my legs when i fell down, otherwise, i will get many many bruises on my legs!! God blessed me.

2009 Business Trip #3 - Jakarta Day 1
It took 5 hours to fly from Hong Kong to Jakarta, so it was a tiring flight. Again, i hurt my neck while I was sleeping on the plane, and I got a serious headache after landing. The headache still hurts now, i really hope that it will go away after a good sleep tonight. The weather is great here, and it is not like the weather report said. The forecast said it will be raining the whole week, but I could not see any sign of raining at all.
Our event will take place at Ritz Carlton Pacific Place tomorrow, so we stay in the same hotel for easier coordination. The funny thing is all the hotel rooms are booked, and we have to stay at the hotel residence. I was just amazed by the size of the flat when I opened the door. By the way, I only stayed in my bedroom for checking email, sleeping and watching TV. The living room and the big kitchen was not used so far. I will try to spend some time there tomorrow.

If Ah Lun tastes something good in the restaurants and he really likes it, he could make it at home. Two yummy items are prepared recently by Ah Lun without any recipes , and i am amazed by the good results:

I was scolded for eating the bananas he bought!! Come on, just one banana!

I am a genius! I got this done secretly with a newly downloaded tool. Wakkakakakkakakkak. When I am about to make one for myself, i realized that I have to buy this software at USD25. Sigh.......

阿笨與阿占 - "嗅"味相投
繼上一次阿笨與阿占分隔兩地之後, 兩口子仍然十分想念對方...... 
今次, 我們特別為阿笨(Boy Boy)送上阿占的氣味, 讓阿笨暫時舒緩一下佢不安的情緒
計劃是這樣的......
我們先將送給阿笨的衣服穿在阿占身上, 其實都幾合身, 感覺就好像女朋友穿上男朋友的恤衫一樣呢.
就在我們預計中, 阿笨非常喜歡佢的新衣! yeah! 終於食得落飯lu!
備註: 平時送衫比佢一定露出一副討厭的樣子, 例子包括於台灣買的恐龍衫及沖繩買的粉紅色夏威夷恤

Easter Family Day
The 4-day holiday passed very quickly, and finally there was only one day left for our families. The gatherings were great and they put a perfect full stop to my Easter holidays.
First of all, we went along with Ah Lun's family to "sweep" his grandfather's graveyard in the western district. It was followed by a dim sum lunch at Dad-in-law's favourite Chinese Restuarant in Tsuen Wan. It is always fun to play with Grandma-in-law who is aged 85. You see Ah Lun is playing with Grandma again!
After that, we had dinner with Chan's family at Ching Pak House. The food cooked by my mom were so delicious, we had a loooooooooooot of food in the end. Ah lun took 3.5 bowls of rice, so it is a pretty clear indication...
Kitty came with a box of famous Mango Napoleon cakes from Mimosa. She heard from her colleagues that the signature Mango Napoleon Cakes are very good. Indeed, her colleague did not lie, and the cakes are just so yummy (crunchy pastry, loads of sweet mango and creamy custard).
All you can hear at Rm 321 at 9:30pm last night was Yummy...Yummy....Fantastic.....So Good. Dad is very picky in terms of food especially non-Chinese food, so I asked our 71-yr-old Dad how is the cake, he said 食得吓. If you know him, this is actually a compliment!!!
Everyone went back home with a big and round belly......

Easter @ Tai O
Although the weather was not very good, the photography trip at Tai O was great because we laughed so much along the way. Ah Lun and Alex kept 吹水-ing, and we could hardly stop them. See! this is on record. Joyce Ip and I were laughing at them, and they were so focused and hardly notice us. 
What a coincidence, we met Cat at Tung Chung Shopping Mall with her bf on the esculator. ha ha. Joyce Ip got a pair of sharp eyes indeed. According to Cat, Joyce Wong was in the mall as well, but we could not find her at last. It seems that everyone was on the Lantau Island, and it was really crowded yesterday from day to night.

The Day before the Big Day
This is the second time we meet Dong, but he looks very different from the photos or the first time met. But he looks like a fun guy and should give Joanne some laughs in the rest of their lives. 
After a short gathering at Joanne's room, six of us went to have dinner at Suzuki Cafe. We were so high last night, and was laughing non-stop. We threw out so many dumb tricks on the table, and it was very hilarious.
It is concluded that Joyce Ip is right there in the corner.
We had the Champagne last night at the bride's room, but it was so chaotic! 
After a short gathering at Joanne's room, six of us went to have dinner at Suzuki Cafe. We were so high last night, and was laughing non-stop. We threw out so many dumb tricks on the table, and it was very hilarious.

Marley & Me
This is such a sweet film, talking about a young couple having the world's worst dog named Marley. When you become a dog owner, you have to take all the good things and the bad things. They are like the jigsaw puzzle, in the end, they come up with a good piece of memory for you and also the puppy.
I want to have a puppy too (i do not have one in my life), if we get a larger flat in the near future, i will definitely do this. Raising a puppy is one of our common goals.
