Non-stop Packing!

The Racing Night project has finally concluded on 27 Jan with 137 attendants. Many colleagues and guests enjoyed the night and won some lucky money at the races. One of our colleagues ALMOST won HKD200,000 (Only if Horse No 8 won the second place), haha. He looked terribly depressed about the miss!
Though i took two days off after the Racing Night hoping to move my belongings to the new flat during the long weekend, i still need to work on another new business proposal while i am on leave. Things always tend to crash in one time, we unfortunately have to live with it.
I was working in my old place in the morning. The powerpoint was completed with some interesting background music including Kailan barking and the packing noise (especially the noise coming out from the adhesive tapes!)
I started packing from 1.30pm until mid-night, the old flat is sooooooo messy now and you just want to stay outside!!!

These boxes are packed by Mr Tse without my help.
I personally got 2 large bags and 2 small bags of clothing, plus one bag of shoes + bags. We are wondering if we have got enough storage space in the new flat...We found so many "evidence of some happy memories" like our old photos and hand written notes. Unfortunately, we have to get rid of some of them. Like this handicraft made by Mr Tse 8 years ago.

周星馳的愛心「那咋」麵

周星馳的愛心「那咋」麵用的豬紅是兩隻熱戀中的豬情人的血，而我今晚吃不到熱戀豬紅，只吃到了阿倫為我十時下班回來煮的公仔麵加蛋，但已經覺得好好好溫暖。
由早上8時多工作至晚上9點幾，上厠所也忘記了，回到家裡有家人及芥菜蘭的關心，眼淚就湧上了眼眶。眼淚除了是感激，還有內疚，因為一家之主淪落為一家之煮。

Tailor-made Curtain

I used to hear people saying tailor-made curtains are expensive, but i do not realize they are that expensive. No wonder people rush to the mainland to make curtains.

We decided to have 3 curtains tailor-made (Living Room + Bedroom) in Hong Kong. In the shopping process, i found that it is so difficult to get some no-frills curtain fabric. It is amazing to know that people do buy some weird curtain designs. The sales got me the plain colour sample catalogue from the bottom of her cabinet, it looks like no one except me has interests on the plain colour canvas style fabric.

By the way, my windows in my bedroom are actually facing the morning sun. We look so forward to having a room that allow us to sleep around the clock without noticing the time outside. And I am not required to wear eye shield any more.

I hope the money are well spent. :) Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Got a typical cha chang ting breakfast before getting some work done
in the new flat. After that, hv to go to the city to search for curtain vendor. I really look forward to having a relaxing weekend after my home removal.

Meiling on 41A from tsing yi

首影終於上演了!!

I have produced a number of videos since late 2008, however, this is my very first time to produce a video involving so many friends. It's been a great and memorable experience for everyone of us. Thank you my friend, Fanny Jie Jie, for sharing the tips of making pika pika movie with us.

This is the very first pika pika movie, and I am sure this is not the last one. We plan to do this in all of our overseas tripsssssssssssss in the future! This is a really fun alternative of the beloved pictionary game!!



We arranged the premiere on a surprise K Night with Joanne Chan. Though many of the gals could not come, but we still had a fun time because we keep talking about some of the hittest topics of the town, including: 1. Ah Yea impressionist painting, 2. Joyce Ip's freedom vs love, 3. Anton's illusion

As per request by the girls, i have taken a video capturing our surprise premiere! Due to the technical problems, Joyce Ip has been trying to switch the Karaoke channel to the VCD channel for quite a long time. We did it swiftly in our rehearsal but this type of problems always happen, anyway, we successfully managed to distract Joanne. wakakakka!!

One more step forward

Finally, our IKEA order and our Samsung TV has arrived. Assembly in progress.

Little Twin Stars 被迫遷

昨晚經過青衣城見到以下境況。最無聊的謝氏伉儷又發揮創意，強行話little twin stars 無屋住，好慘的一對小情人啊！

Samsung Digital Lock - installed today

hehehheheheheh......For those who read my earlier post, you may know I wanted to buy the latest Samsung digital lock. And i bought this last month online, and got this delivered from Korea. Ah Lun installed the lock by himself today . His mom may not thank him for dismantling and assembling things in his childhood, but i really appreciate his gift of assembling things and this has saved us HKD700 installation charge. :)

廟街煲仔飯之旅

今天花了半天在IKEA選購新傢俱, 終於又完成了一項重要的工作...但覺得很累很累! 晚上還要到廚櫃公司confirm工程...離開的時候已經是晚上8時多了,真的要好好吃一餐.
阿倫記得拍拖的時候, 冬天我們一定會吃煲仔飯, 今晚我們又回到廟街食蠔餅, 炒蜆, 免治牛肉煲仔飯, etc...by the way, 煲仔飯的飯焦真的好香呀!!yummy!

破壞王芥蘭

小狗兩天前偷吃了我的中藥沖劑, 我們一直感到奇怪, 因為這些都是放在廚房的桌面上的. 於是我們開始懷疑小狗已經可以借狗籠跳上桌面.......佢究竟有無咁厲害!!?!

為了防範她再吃了些不應吃的東西 (如洗潔精等), 我們又特別搬了狗籠的位置, 點知我們透過安在廚房的ip camera發現貪玩的芥蘭還是繼續企圖跳上桌面. 我馬上衝入廚房捉住兩腳在台面, 兩腳在狗籠的芥蘭, 她就像小偷一樣當場被捕, 她一支箭跳番落地, 扮無事sit down. 當然她又被剝奪自由數小時.....但似乎這小狗很善忘, 很快又會到處破壞!!

ps. 原來 ip camera 咁有用的!!!

Family Travel & Last Trip in 2009 - Part 1

Last year, only Dawn and I travelled to Macau with our parents. This year, we have Kitty, Carson & May. As Ah Lun has to take care of the home decoration project and Ms Kailan, he decided not joining us in the end.
The most impressive feeling about the trip is I did not feel hungry at all in this 3D2N trip, and we had Peking Ducks for two consecutive nights, how great is that!
The saddest thing happened in the trip was about 72-yr old Dad's serious injuries after falling down from the 7-seater van. Due to his eye illness lately, he fell down from the car. Looking at the positive side, his bones were not twisted and we got some really great help from the local driver. Who needs hire car contacts in Guangzhou, please let me know.
