I hope this will be imported to HK. It's such a lovely idea to cross a french fries pedestrian crossing. We will not feel guilty of having french fries everyday then.

Car Owner Meiling & Mark
We were crowned car owners finally on Sep 19, 2011 (Monday).
On an evening with amber raining signal, we went to do a trial run, and bought the car within 30 mins. That's very our style I can say. If Ah Lun wanted to buy a "beats by dr. dre" head phone, he would just go out and make a purchase within the same day. If i wanted some new clothes, i would just go shopping after work to meet my desire. If we are buying stuff that are not too expensive, we really do not do price comparison like most people do. We just enjoy the game of impulsive buying and an immediate sense of satisfaction we will get.
If we are buying a car, it takes a little more time. 2 days.
We had been searching on the web for sometime, but we were not comfortable with the idea of trusting strangers. So we did not call any seller to test the car. When i know Flora's fiance is running a Japan car shop, we finally went out to check out 1 car.
I can possibly gauge Ah Lun's taste, so i just checked all the details before he comes home on Sunday night. We then decided to test the car on Monday evening in Yuen Long. In the beginning, i really thought of waiting for a black CUBE, but in the end, we both felt that this charcoal grey colour is so special. In addition, the dust will look less obvious on a grey car compared to the black one...
When Chun Gor Gor is driving the car passing us in a distance, we both knew that this is our car. We just love this special colour. And the car is so new, and spacious inside, we are so happy about this!
We told Chun Gor Gor that we wanted this car, but he asked "did you need to test run it?". Oh! We confirmed buying even before asking to do a drive test. Ah Lun just drove one lap inside the car park, and then off we are set.
Kailan may get over excited again if she knows about the car. We can bring her out more often now. Hurray!

即興的購物日
由於要去Armani買化妝品，我們有機會可以逛又一城了。一想起，就知道要把Hollister編入行程。
我們先於5時在Armaroni's Little Italy吃飯。太好了，不用排隊，做早鳥真好。我們的味蕾又重遊了意大利一趟。原來牆上的圖片有很多是很舊的景點相，真的要去過意大利才知道啊！

飯後，我們去了Hollister，入去要排隊。我們見隊不太長，便排了。我說：這排隊一事實在太青春了。然後，我們都買了恤衫。
食的方面，阿倫要size大。穿這家，就越小越好。Hollister的style係要著爆衫的，所以阿倫選了S碼。他提起中學的往事，老師給他的功課的評語係"字體力求端正"，而他的同學仔就笑佢：衣著力求貼身。原來他自小也有這個時尚要求，連校服都唔放過。

Italy 2011
It took me so long to pick the right song which is not too boring or too noisy. We were digging out our CD collection again, and one evening we got Corrine Bailey Rae. She is really an amazing singer. We chose her award-winning song 'Put your records on".
It's not an easy trip because there were loads of hiccups every other day. But we still enjoyed it as we saw some great places on earth together!

2 idiots watched "3 idiots", and recommending more idiots to watch...
Wow! You cannot tell this is a good movie from the trailer. We were not persuaded to see the movie by just seeing its movie poster. But after seeing so many positive reviews, we decided to watch the movie.
We were shocked to know that the movie lasts for 3 hours when we bought the tickets. However, we were so happy that we did see the movie.
It's such a touching yet funny Bollywood film. There are so much wisdom in the story, and these are told in a simple and funny way.
The movie was released in 2009, but only brought to HK in 2011. That's too bad!!
This is definitely a must-see 5-star movie ranked by Tse's.
Tonight, i keep on imitating the actor singing "All is well" with a strong Indian accent, and Ah Lun finally smiled. Good job, Meiling!
黃毅力 - 何謂愛情? 何謂婚姻?
在此與大家分享一個帶有哲學性的故事。
有一位學生問智者說道：「愛情是甚麼？」智者回答：「在我們面前種植了一塊禾穗田，在微風輕吹下，田地上的禾穗左搖右擺、非常有節奏且美妙地擺動着。你一直向前走，走進這塊禾穗田中，拔一根你認為最好、最肥美的禾穗給我，我會跟你在末端會面，到時候，你就會明白何謂愛情了。」
接着，那位學生就按智者的話照着辦。走進禾穗田中，他看見一根根既肥美、新鮮、又強壯的禾穗，繼續向前走，他又發現一路上的禾穗愈見美好，亦使他難以抉擇。
看見眼前的禾穗明明是很好，可是身邊還有些更好的；看見更好的禾穗時，身邊總還是會有再好的出現。走遠數步，遇上最好的，又會想找到更美好的，一心多意的他漸漸地一根禾穗都拔不到。
不久，學生眼前一看就是智者，原來他已經在不知不覺間穿越過禾穗田了。
智者問：「何謂最好的禾穗？為何不在你的手中呢？」學生黯然地說：「我想揀選最好的禾穗，但更美好的禾穗實在太多，使我難以抉擇，且變得愈來愈難揀擇，最後就甚麼都得不到。」
智者說：「感情就是這樣，在尋尋覓覓的過程中，因為人的貪婪、不懂感恩、不知足和到處比較，以致到最後還是繼續尋尋覓覓，希望找到你認為的最好。
當你每走一步，就等於光陰在你眼前消逝一秒，當你走到最後時，光陰亦用盡了，你的青春亦耗盡了，而原先能夠讓你選擇的，就會由你所擁，而又變成一一失去。到最後，你從有條件變到沒有條件，想要也得不到，這就是愛情了。」
愛是一種選擇，每個人都有權利去選擇。男人和女人的最大不同，就是女人較會選擇比自己更好的男人；而男人卻會選擇比自己條件、智商、個性相等或相差不遠的女人。
而在現實的情況下，「平庸的選擇」永遠較「更好的選擇」為多，所以在現今社會中，男人的選擇永遠會比女人多，他們的優勢就在於自己擁有寬闊的胸襟。現今的社會競爭力大，如果女性能夠選擇、或能接受未必比自己條件更優勝的男人，可能會發現更多、更好的選擇。
擇偶是要追求真誠、真意的愛，而不是像「求職」似的要選擇所謂的「最好」，而所謂「最好」的，最後卻未必如你所想，或許只會是一個得不償失的結局罷了 。
智者跟學生在論述完愛情後，學生再問智者說：「那麼，又何謂婚姻呢？」智者回答：「你再返回那個禾穗田中，拔一根你認為最好的禾穗給我。同樣地，我會在禾穗田的另一端等你，和你會面。」
經過抉擇不到、由擁有變得全部都失去的經歷後，學生這回變得醒目了。才一踏入禾穗田中，因為有所經驗，他就不斷提醒自己不要再貪心，別再「左揀右揀」，不消數秒，便一手拔下一根他認為最好的禾穗出來。
在走往禾穗田盡頭的遙遙路程中，他手握着自以為最好的禾穗，但一路上，他卻看見了更多的禾穗，而且看來，每根都要比自己手上的那根更好、更美呢！
走到禾穗田的盡頭，智者望着學生說：「你現在有怎樣的感受？」學生說：「有些後悔，也有點遺憾。原來在路途中還有更好的禾穗，而我的選擇實在太早了。」智者再問：「那你是覺得選擇錯了嗎？」他說：「是的。」
智者點點頭，便跟他說：「婚姻就是這樣的。在共諧連理後，你可能會在往後的人生歷程中遇見到比這段婚姻、比你的伴侶更好的選擇，那種比較的心情難免會帶給你痛楚和遺憾。不過，婚姻不是用來比較的，而是要從中學懂感恩，也要懂得如何將這段婚姻的價值盡情去欣賞與感受，更不是跟身邊或其他朋友的伴侶作比較，這樣去想，你就能活得更快樂了。」
婚姻就是這樣，中國人有句說話叫作「娶妻求淑女」，一位好的伴侶並不只是在於外表的好醜，即使再美麗的女孩子，給你看多十年八載，你也會覺得不外如是而已。樣貌不是最重要的，能力也如是，人隨着年紀的增長，能力亦會因而提升。
就算是一位有性格、有能力且外表美麗的女子，但其情操一般、又容易動怒、愛挑剔和比較，這樣把她娶到家中，最後只會導致終日家嘈屋閉，既不快樂也不能建立出一個安樂的家。相反，一個相貌平庸，但才德兼備、懂得關愛、體諒而且又會包容的女孩、伴侶，可能才是最完美的選擇，這也會是一段細水長流的好婚姻。
人與其要追求最好，倒不如把握現在，而且凡事要懂得感恩，及與伴侶互相包容和體諒，這就是最美好的婚姻了。
最後，大家一定很想知道，究竟那位智者是誰？而那位學生又是誰呢？在此跟大家揭盅吧，智者正是古希臘最著名的哲學家蘇格拉底（Socrates），而那位學生便是他的高徒柏拉圖（Plato）了。

Waiting...
Are you romantic?
Ah Lun and I both enjoy love movies, and we were so touched by the Disney movie "Up" sometime ago. With the recently produced MTV, we enjoyed the clip together tonight again.
Even though it is just animation, it is really powerful and moving.
Afterall, love is not about diamond rings, roses or handbags, it is about all the little things you have encountered with your loved one.
