Once in a while, Kailan will have a party on her own at the kitchen.
It usually happens when we are out of home for so long. Last night, I just arrived home at 8pm (not too late, right?), she just turned our kitchen into hell.

今天從台灣的一個朋友收到一封電郵，很有意思！其實都是關於"活在當下"

學會做三件事

人一輩子有"三天 "，即昨天、今天、明天。

昨天與今天之間有扇後門，今天與明天之間有扇前門。

這"三天" 中"今天 "最重要。

過去的事情就讓它過去吧， 明天的事情等來了再說吧， 最要緊的是做好今天的事情。

要想過好今天，要學會做三件事。

Ø 第一是 "會關門"。 把通往昨天的後門和通往明天的前門都關緊了， 人一下子就輕鬆了。

Ø 第二是 "會計算"。 要學會計算幸福。

有的人本子上記的全是困難和問題， 從來沒有記過幸福。

有些人對自己做對的事情一件也沒記住， 對自己做錯的事情記得特別牢，徒增了許多煩惱。

Ø 第三是 "會放棄" 。 請牢記："先捨後得，捨了才會得，捨了一定會得"。

學會說三句話

Ø 第一句話：算了。

"錢包被偷了，算了；

電視機燒壞了，算了；

骨頭摔斷了，算了；

眼睛瞎了，算了。

對於既成 事實， 最好的辦法就是接受。

Ø 第二句話：不要緊。不管發生什麼問題，一定要學會說"不要緊" 。

一生都要樂觀，天塌下來有高個子頂著。

Ø 第三句話：會過去的。有一句俗語"天不會總是陰的。別憂愁，一切都會過去的"。

學會三種方法

Ø 三樂法。 就是助人為樂、知足常樂、自得其樂。

Ø 三不要法。

一是不要拿別人的錯誤來懲罰自己，

二是不要拿自己的錯誤懲罰別人，

三是不要拿自己的錯誤懲罰自己。

Ø 年齡減十法。 舉例來說，假如你今年78歲了，

當別人問你多大年紀時，你應該回答：我今年 68歲。

不要小看這種方法，它有明顯的煥發青春的功效。 心態年輕，人自然會顯得年輕

Special guests from Dubai

My mood is still down... Not because of the hazy weather today.
I'd have been happier as I spent a half day with some Dubai guests doing inspection at the HK international airport today. It's funny to see the ferry pier attached to the airport, which is only open for transit passengers!

This is the sky deck which is open for public at a fee.

A weekend filled with babies!!

The Momo Club's first gathering was organized this Saturday at Connie's place. It's QQ's first time leaving home so far away. Connie does not look tired at all! How can she lose all the fat and water so quickly in just 3 weeks? Amazing!

Joyce Wong and I had a hilarious discussion about breast feeding! OMG!

Ho Wai is such a good girl, she seldom cried. The annoying look means it's about milk time!

My First Handmade Leather Iphone Case

I don't know why i had so much faith last week to have my first leather handmade iphone case completed within the weekend.

I was sleepless one of the nights last week, and i had come up with more than 6 designs of iphone case. And i decided to make a trip to Sham Shui Po today (Saturday) to purchase all the materials i will need. Ah Lun had a few hours break and he came along with me to the leather shop. I have got a dark brown leather with some unique marks on the surface. We both like the thickness and the colour of the leather.

Ah Lun has been learning so many techniques from the books, and it's much easier to learn from him direct, and skipping all the reading time, haha! I made the short cut, thanks to him.

Tic tac tic tac......after a couple of hours, the product is finished. I feel so proud of myself after completing my very first leather product. I like the unpolished effect of the iphone case, which fits my style and personality!

After all those stupid and basic softwares, i managed to get these into JPEG files.

The worst thing I have seen this week!

Everyday, it's interesting to watch people how they dress. There are nice case studies but there are also scary cases! When i went out this lunch, i was so attracted by this pair of mustard stockings!

You know what, i wanted to buy this colour stokcing at H&M last year sooo much. It's a really nice colour, but i know i could not really carry them well. So i saved some money!

This middle-aged short lady, wearing a short hair that needs trimming, was wearing a white knitted dress and white shoes to match the mustard coloured stockings. I do not have any clues on this match!!! This lady really needs some lecture on colour pairing and fashion styling.

I think i am so naughty, but i am kind enough not to take her full length shot.

在謝氏的家, 有一幅黑板牆...

在黑板牆上, 有時會見到我的卡通畫, 有時會有我倆的留言...非常old school, i like it!

在設有黑板的謝氏家, 原來有一些禁忌, 亦是我入伙10個月之後先得知!

在得知的時候, 本人感到十分無奈, 而另一人就笑, 而另一隻4腳動物就在家中亂跑

阿倫很久之前寫道: 已餵臭蘭 (以防我起身時再餵了"肥婆蘭")

上星期五, 我"靠牆"跟在廚房弄三文治的阿倫聊天, 之後我就變了 "臭玲"

註 : 對於偏愛古龍水而自認係"香香公子" 的阿倫來說，"臭"是他經常用的貶詞, 效果出色, 令人無以還拖.

我笑不停的原因係:

• 這個photocopy實在太妙; 清楚到不得了!
• 令人最費解的是...點解偏偏選中個"臭"字?
• 為什麼我會穿黑色衫?

一大堆問號讓我笑到停唔到呀! 我唯一可以笑佢就是他寫錯字, 但係印上我身的字又無錯? why???

tell me why? [oh 這個要用舊歌的腔唱出, 但我已忘記歌名了]

最近我都會想起一些勁樣衰的歌(泛指outdated唱腔 / 播爛左的disco歌/ mtv 好唔得的歌....等等), 然後行行下街細聲地唱, 然後就有人話我cheap, 跟住我就有一股成功感湧上心頭! yeah!

A life on Facebook

To make things clear in the first place, I do not hate Facebook. Because I enjoy connecting friends within a few clicks.

But i do agree that some people are disclosing too much information on this potentially dangerous platform.

Inspired by the short video, I think updating the relationship status is more serious than the commitment of a marriage. You know once you pressed the enter button, it's open to everyone. People who update the relationship status are so brave, I can be so chicken-hearted in some situations like this one. It does not represent that I am not confident about my relationship, it's just because the overwhelming response in return of such update could be quite scary. Afterall, relationships are just between 2 people, not all your *friends* in the facebook.

I do appreciate people who have the courage to do that. I will also congratulate them if my friends are getting engaged or married. But i just cannot press the ENTER button.

Not sure if i will have time to see the Social Network, let's watch the trailer to get a feel first!

My love for Eeyore

Eeyore, the world's most lovely pessimist, has won my love for so long.
Ah Lun bought me a stuff toy back in 2000, and he has become one of our best friends there after, and he was kept away from chewing monster Kailan.

A donkey who always lose or forgets his tail can simply make me laugh. So i really enjoy watching the Winnie the Pooh cartoons on TVB, and always hope that Eeyore would appear in the story. But i am not that lucky, because Eeyore always just walk by or show up for a few seconds for most of the cases.

I look forward to seeing the Winnie-the-Pooh movie next summer. The trailer is so nicely done...i can see Eeyore is playing a bigger role here, and i love the way they match the cartoon with Keane's song - somewhere only we know.

Rimowa

我的靚靚Samonite行李箱真的要爛了。

有別於其他models，我的Samonite行李箱可以說係最時尚的。當我於2005/6年從Jusco以$690買下它的時候, 真的覺得自己好醒, 並認為自己愛逛街的嗜好有建設，如果我唔係連喼的部門都逛，我就永遠遇不到這個獨一無二的旅行喼了。

老實說，我真的喜愛它，因為不少business partners也讚過它sleek and functional。我在行李帶上還沒有見過這個喼啊，只是見過同model的紅色。我真的懷疑這個喼是不是限量版或只是Sample。

我的Samonite行李箱退休在即，於是我打算買Rimowa。經得起時間的考驗，就只有timeless的經典設計。Less is more!

由於我一直都只是喜歡她的外型，我真的要自己去看一下她的內函。

別人三顧草廬，我就三顧Rimowa專門店...

第一次，由於生意興隆，我看了15-20分鐘都未有sales理我...

第二次，我同阿倫9:15pm到，目送sales離開...原來，sales份工好正，開10收8:30pm...

第三次，我們終於對哂錶先去，終於了解更多，並看了喼的間隔。OK決定了。

雖然，我很喜歡這個喼，但她也有短處...就是她好重好重- 有5.4kg

同時，她真的有點厚，所以我只可以選26吋...

不過，我真的好想擁有她啊！如果真的好重，就益阿倫啦！我買硬妳！

這個星期看雜誌又見到rimowa，應該是與磁場有關吧！

I love silly panda

Today, i got this email from Angela. In fact, i received this about half a year ago from my sister, but that one was just showing pictures without captions. In Angela's version, the photo captions are really funny, and making me laugh on a busy Tuesday afternoon. I cannot stop posting this to my blog for record.

When sandwich does not look like sandwich anymore!

The not-so-good weather and Ah Lun's busy work schedule this weekend has made me so lazy. My butt just stick to the couch all day after taking a bubble bath. I enjoyed watching TLC non-stop, and they always have something about good food and home decoration. I am loving their programs. :)

As many friends know, Ah Lun has such a big appetite. I always think he needs to go to New York to fulfill his monster eating desire.

In today's program of "Best Food Ever", they have a sandwich ranking going on. The Number 3 delicious sandwich goes to the triple decker of Harold's New York Deli.

OMG! You can see the size is too big for one man. According to the shop owner, the restaurant consumed 8 tonnes of beef every 7 days. How amazing! By looking at this photo, I don't know if Ah Lun could finish it at all. Let's keep the shop details here in my blog and see if we go there one day in the future. :)

Movies I want to see...

Similar to "Grown Ups", i want to see the film because of the actors. Robert Downey Jr is a pretty good comedian, but of course, he is not comparable to my favourite - Adam Sandler. :)
Apart from this, i want to see the stupid French Bulldog in the film. She looks really stupid in the trailer, and i love all stupid lovely creatures.

This is another movie which looks good...but not sure i will have time to see it.

A warm WELCOME!

It always make me feel good when the plane touches down the runway at HK International Airport. There are so many implications....I am arriving home safely, i am going to see Ah Lun and Kailan soon, and i am going to have a good sleep on my own bed, and simply Hong Kong is so beautiful.

I can understand how people feel when they return home, and you will treasure your home dearly as you leave home more frequently. It's just good to be home, and it's senstaional to get such warm welcome right you step out the airport.
