Haha, finally went to a class to make this special type of Swiss roll. It's not really as easy as I thought. I am worrying if I can make this at home after experiencing this class...
By the way, how can the class can last so long?? We stayed there from 7-10:15pm!!

完美煲仔飯

經過幾次的嘗試，終於做出了完美的煲仔飯了！今次再用番瓦煲試試，再用少了水，真的很好味。阿倫都話好味，所以佢覺得唔夠飯。下次似乎要加到2杯半米喇！我本人則認為冬菇配雞肉就最正呀！

Post Racing Night Fun

I bought all these snakes for boss. Sourced from Ikea and another toy place in Central. Gloria and I enjoyed playing with all these snakes and had so much fun yesterday. This area is still under renovation and it's such a good spot for phototaking! As beautiful as a studio!

Racing Night 2013

I lost track of how many years I had been the person in charge for the annual company event. Boss always say its good to watch how a pr company runs a pr event. Being the Agency of the Year, he expected a flawless event and this is always the source of pressure. But working for the event for many years, I am managing his expectation and stress much better now.
This year, it was such a great night out because we rented a digital photo booth. Everyone got so excited!! The machine could actually captured so many funny pictures.
At the party, we hired three fortune tellers and caricaturists to entertain our guests. I decided not to have my outlook checked, but in the end, I went for it because the fortune telling teacher has come in the end. He said something true in the past, but the most interesting thing is he is telling me I am a 旺夫person. So when I told Ah Lun this, he of course denied.
I said to Ah Lun that he could possibly a beggar if he did not meet me. In return, he challenged me to date a beggar to test my level of favorability for husband. I turn speechless again.

BFF shooting

Finally I picked them up last weekend and the photos just look great as we expected.
I guessed not many people will take official photos at the studio with friends. People go to shooting with family, lovers and pets, and they seldom think of friends.
Friendship should get a higher ranking when it goes to shooting. And I am glad that I shared the coupon to BFF, and Ah Lun is happy with the decision despite he and Kailan lost the chance of shooting.

Pre-CNY gathering

6 of us came out tonight to have dinner. The food was so great that it's really a nice place for friends' gathering. It's a fun Saturday outing with girls, leaving the men behind!
The Parma hem pizza was heavenly tasty...

Tunisia

Haha, woke up early today and caught a travelogue on Tunisia randomly. Apparently, Kailan is not interested. Tunisia is also very nice, and looked very similar to Morocco. Look at the lovely tilework!! Love them!!!!

A special message to our team head

It's our team head Liz's birthday today, unfortunately she was doing a media training in rural India. In order to cheer her up, I proposed the team to make a special message to her.
I don't know what has inspired me!! I really just think of this idea from scratch. When I proposed to the team mates, they also enjoyed this exercise. I am so happy because this cannot be done without the other colleagues.
In the end, we had so much fun and we found out that some colleagues are so flexible. Liz found this email hilarious. Mission completed.

Mom-in-law Birthday (Jan 14)

Celebrating mom in law's birthday at one of the famous restaurants in Happy Valley wet market, 銖記. The food there was really delicious, and there's not any dish we don't like!! We ordered shark fin soup, fried spicy crab, fried chicken, beef brisket, etc. HKD1500 for such a 7-people group, that's quite good value for money.
JB was ultra energetic tonight, and had been a good boy playing with everyone.
I just sent a flower bouquet to mom in law as a routine, and she is happy as usual. This will become my signature birthday gift for her every year.

我一起身見到這個場面，真係笑死我！
他昨晚漏夜幫我煲了花膠湯，應該係怕走哂d味，所以起了座高塔，壓住個煲。我覺得這個太random了，直情係將櫃裡面的放煲的模式以藝術的方式展現出來，好爆炸呀！如果唔係個抽油煙機阻住，他會繼續起塔嗎？

鼠患

我們一向都不會買一些很正常的玩具給芥蘭，因為我們是「非一般」的主人。我們去宜家時，特別買了兩隻老鼠，一大一細，給芥蘭。原因係為何有人會做一隻不太受歡迎的動物公仔，我們就是喜歡，想支持一下創造者。另外，老鼠一向係貓的玩意，我們今次幫下芥蘭，等佢可以玩cosplay，扮下貓仔捉老鼠過癮下。
不過，我今次捉蟲啦！阿倫又用呢d玩具玩我。
有一晚，阿倫工作至深夜，我已經瞓左。
佢返到屋企，走入睡房將隻大老鼠放在我心口，我被佢嘅笑聲嘈醒，然後我發現自己抱住大老鼠，我未清醒就掟走左個公仔！佢狂笑，而我就笑笑下之後又睡過。
過了幾天，阿倫又出招。我早上穿鞋，覺得唔對路，於是開燈望清楚，原來阿倫放了隻小老鼠入我隻鞋，我真係笑左！好啦好啦，以為可以出門口，一放隻手入去個手袋，發現有軟綿綿的東西在裡面，一看竟然是大老鼠，如果唔係比我係出門口之前找到，我一定成隻大老鼠帶返公司！

Nice meeting Sue in Hong Kong. Great to catch up with you. The story about the Chinese history test in the old days was really hilarious. In addition, sweet-sweet ah yea is keeping the temperature as low as possible. I think it's getting colder and colder, and it should now reach below -15. ;p

冬日至愛：煲仔飯

好野，整到有飯焦的煲仔飯，好開心！
上年冬天，爸爸教過一次，之後自己煮煮唔到飯焦。
今年再接再厲，上網看食譜，發現有人用Le Creuset 整，於是取出久違了的Le Creuset試試。
今次因為要等阿倫返屋企，時間掌握得不準，飯焦被倒汗水弄濕了。下次一定要整個perfect的煲仔飯。

Xmas Party with Family (Dec 25, 2012)

Finally got some time to clear my photos in the camera. Looks like i am getting lazier and lazier in terms of organizing my photos.
Sister Kitty is suggesting to hold a Christmas Party at my place as she has a long holiday in Dec. We have been talking about running a cooking competition for a while, so we decided to make it happen in the last Christmas.
In order not to have duplicated dishes, we had to submit what to cook in advance.
Mom was the judge on that day, and she picked Kong to be the winner as she loved his western style dish! So unbelievable! An old lady loving a western dish, there must be something going on under the table (this is all the losers thought).

Special eye glasses

This is a special type of googles for people in the camps settling after natural disasters. All glasses can be adjusted to the right degree so people can still see clearly even though their eye glasses may had been broken in the earthquake, etc.
What a smart idea! Salute to the kind hearted enterprise to design these.

充滿愛心的燉湯。就算係一人晚餐，都有齊人的感覺。

Hidden message

There is a western veggie restaurant in quarry bay, and I love going there to have their veggie "hamburger" and "bolognese". The place is so small that we have to return the table quickly. The waitress sent us the bill and we just found the line "go-go-go" today! How come?!?!

An unlucky evening

I need to go to Central to buy something for the company event after work. After making the first stop in central, we visited Mongkok tonight as Ah Lun's PS3 was completely down. He bought a new device tonight. When we finished all the purchase and our Shanghaiese dinner, just 10 steps away from our car, we saw the policeman putting down the illegal parking ticket onto our window. Sigh! Unlucky day! Since we had the ticket already, we decided to park our car there longer. We found a nice dessert shop called Sweet Tooth just next to our car. They had really crispy yet soft waffles.
Ok! Do we feel better now?? The answer is NO!
Ah Lun, did I say we should park our car in the $32/hr car park earlier????arghhhhhhhhh~~~~
