Interactions with Kailan

Kailan is so jealous when we play with Megan. Sometimes I am scratching Kailan with my left hand while I am holding Megan with my right hand. 

Milestone // finger food

Megan is going through another stage of weaning. She's not interested in the food we made because they are too mashed. Now, we have made her food quite coarse, and she enjoyed chewing. 

When I was so frustrated that I could not feed her congee this morning, I made oat cereal. She still refused that. Okay, I gave up and don't want to bother this too much. I peeled an orange for myself, but she was eager to eat real orange. That's good you have eaten something. Well done, Megan! Orange is also Kailan's favourite, and my favourite too. Three of us happily eating a super sweet orange in a mess. That makes a happy Sunday. 

We are introducing carrot sticks as morning snack. She also finished one cup of baby yoghurt. 

Most of the time, she squeezes the food. It's all about experiment of her fingers. Allowing her to mess up for her own good.

It's really hilarious!! I am not sweating about it, but he really made her daughter looking ugly. Well done!

Peer Forum - June 23

We are the last group of colleagues enjoying the peer forum. Every year, 2 management took a group of colleagues in the same grade to have an experience. 

We decided to go for cooking at Corner Kitchen. 

We learnt how to make chicken paella and chocolate soufflé. Very fun experience and we had too much laughters.

Final product! It's yummy though it's quite oily. Have to cut the oil used next time. 

Chocolate soufflé is also good, Choco flavour is so strong. 

Milestone // drinking with straw

She has been drinking water from sippy cup for a while, so it's time to buy a training cup with straw. Tin Tin has washed it, so let's give it to Megan to try it out. 

Surprisingly, Megan knows how to suck it just in a few minutes. Cannot imagine this is so easy.

First Video Call with Megan

It's a disastrous experience!! When we started the call, Megan just freezed. After I kept talking to her, she started to cry. 

In fact, I find it too cute, as she has not got this kind of experience before. She must be wondering why mama is trapped in the phone?? Of course I thought she's missing me too. Ah Lun denied it right away. 

She has been a happy baby and never cry for long, she was crying hysterically when we did the video call. It's so serious that we have to stop the call. Poor baby. 

I was speaking from the camera. Megan remembered my voice and started to look out for me.

Happy Father's Day

The gift had been delivered to him a long time ago, even before the Mother's Day. He can even make another urgent order for me before Mother's Day. We always argue which design is better. 

Today, we had the dim sum lunch with my family. What a rush for Tse's family because Megan has a busy schedule in the morning. There's only one window of time to go out briefly. 10am after the morning nap and before 11:30am before lunch.

Business Trip - Singapore

Well, this is my third business trip after I resume working. The good thing is I have the power to plan the time of travel, otherwise I will have two trips back to back which means I cannot see Megan for 10 days in the original plan. 

I am staying in Ritz Carlton this time. Very nice hotel with great memories.

MO has the super personalized service but the lobby and room are not too great. 

On the contrary, ritz has really big rooms which appeals to me. 

Am I too stressed? 

I had a meeting above a kids-themed shopping mall. After the meeting, I shopped all these in 30mins during a break. 

I was attracted to go in the shop because of the sales. In the end what I bought are all new arrivals!!! I really hate myself. 

But I think I got so many items within HKD$1000. Not too bad! I don't really get it why I bought 4 bibs. Crazy!

Jennifer visited Megan today. But due to the stranger anxiety for babies under one, Megan has been watching Jennifer from a distance all the time. By end of the gathering, Jennifer and Megan started to become less hostile.

PR Agency of the Year

Yeah! This is the third time we got the gold award, and we are the only PR agency to be in the top 3 in the last 5 years. 

Boss had ordered 5 tables and celebrated the evening with all staff. 

It's a well planned evening, free styling service, pre-dinner drinks and pizza, coach transfer to venue, after-party, and post-award Choco trophy for every staff including interns. Our boss is so good at these. All his hard work paid off and everyone had a nice time. 

I always picked a messy hairdo. This is what I like. Simple and messy. 

Carol is my buddy.
