Spa-holiday

This is my first week-long holiday after I get back to work. With all the stress and long working hours, I have been extremely tired. Today, I am doing mani, pedi and a massage as a treat for myself. 

I picked Bliss Spa at W hotel.

Easter Holiday Day 5 - April 7

Busy picking up and giving away baby goods today. First stop at Cat's and then Donna's place. 

Apart from these, both of us enjoyed looking after baby Megan.

April 7 is Megan's 6 month birthday. We bought a cake but unfortunately we were so busy and forgot to cut the cake with baby. We were only aware of the cake after we put her into bed.

Easter Holiday Day 3 - April 5

Tine Tine is off today and Ah Lun needs to work, it's another typical Sunday without assistance. Frankly speaking, I am getting used to this. The worst thing is I also woke up at 5:40am because of the alarm set by Ah Lun. In fact, I feel blessed already as we could sleep from 11pm onwardsevery night. It's such a great decision to teach megan not to use any pacifier. 

Megan is very fretful in taking her usual lunch nap. Usually she just take the nap easily. Today she woke up after 30mins, it took her 40 mins to get back to sleep in tears. If she's unsettled, I cannot take my nap too, sadly. 

The highlight of my day was the tea time with my friend Cynthia at Maritime square. It's such a short gathering but it has brightened my life. As she's about 6m old, she's developed separation anxiety and she started to cry when seeing strangers. She just cried a bit during the gathering, not bad! 

This is a new place for me. Where's mommy?

Easter Holiday Day 1 - April 3

Finally we have time to go out for movie in the Easter Holiday. Simple thing like this is already the highlight of my day. We went to see Fast and Furious 7, as we had been watching this in the cinema for the previous editions. Quite sad to know the handsome guy in the movie had died, so it's like a good farewell to him. 

Other than movie, it's all about baby sitting. But frankly speaking, it's quite fun to play with Megan now.

BFF holiday 2013 - Bangkok (Day 3 & 4)

Haha! Love the hotel I have booked again. That's really stylish in lovely and relaxing hues. 

Interestingly, when I stepped out from the car, I met my colleague Windcy! What a coincidence. But this hotel reflects our taste, and this is no surprise to bump into fashionable and elegant Windcy.

Our room - equipped with a dining area and a kitchen. Mango sticky rice to replace the normal fruit basket, is it awesome? 

Love all these neutral colours. Everything looks perfect. It's a home away from home.

By the way, we feel so guilty about the food intake this week. So we are doing exercises in mid night! Feeling so much better after the gym section.

A fresh new start on Sunday with the best pancakes and waffles I have ever had in my life. They are so fluffy and tasty. Of course the restaurant is nicely decorated, French style with little touches of American flavors. 

Photographer Joyce Wong keeps saying this is her best shot, because it is showing the feminine side of me (?) 

Honestly speaking, I like the window design so much and thank you for taking a picture of me with that! That's so awesome to look at the green from Cafe Claire.

BFF holiday 2013 - Hua Hin (Day 2)

So happy that our day 2 started with great weather. Had some fun by the pool when sunshine is here. 

It's also time for us to explore this beautiful hotel. Amazing decor with lots of details.

After the morning outdoor fun, we went to the town to explore some attractions. 

It is confirmed that its a boring town. We decided to spend a posh afternoon at Asara Spa, followed by the dinner at Kampu which is located in the same hotel. Very nice hotel by the way. 

My Second Travel Journal - Phuket

Yeah! Finished another thinner book about our trip in Phuket. This project is good for me because i love photography and graphic design.

Phuket - Day 4

Finally, we are close to the end of our short holiday. Again, I was reading at the sofa after waking up at 6:30am...

We are going to miss the delicious mango pancakes we had everyday. 

The signature Sala breakfast includes eggs, sausage, potato hash, grilled tomatoes and 3 pancakes. This is not including the bread and ham we got from the buffet counter. So I can only finish 1 pancake every morning, and Ah Lun can consume 5 pancakes in the end. ;)

After finishing breakfast, I requested to do a final swing. Ah Lun just pretended those low b kids doing swing to move our chair. Just cannot stop laughing! 

After some hard core laughing, we went to the souvenir shop to buy this bag. When I checked in the hotel, guests can use this bag and a sarong during their stay. I fell in love with this bag in the end and decided to take it home. Love the cotton lining and the leather strip! 

Ok. Ah Lun did a last swim at our little pool. I did not join because I think I was burnt yesterday. 

At 4:30pm, we really need to say good bye to this wonderful resort. Hope to come back in one day in the future. 

Phuket - Day 3

I think we are just repeating the activities of Day 2, haha! 

Even my wake up time is the same - 6:30am!! For these consecutive two days, I was woken up by the cold temperature in the room. I will then chill out in the outdoor sofa to wait for Ah Lun to wake up at around 9am. This is the picture I took at 6:30am. Well, the weather is not as good as yesterday, its much cloudier. 

After our breakfast, i wanted to see the bathroom because i saw the picture that the design is really cool. 

Following that, we still walk by the beach and I also did a little swing. 

After the villa is cleaned. We are back to the room to swim. 

Today, we decided to walk to "turtle village" for dinner. Ah Lun has been complaining that Thai food is too oily. 

People will get a taxi to go there, but we just walk. Under the hot weather, I can feel the sweat coming down the face like raindrops. We ended up at the coffee club for drinks and dinner. 

Today's highlight is to watch sunset at the beach. Unfortunately, the sky is not clear enough to let us see the full sunset. 

Too bad! By the way, Mai Khao Beach looks so dangerous, it's not suitable for water activities. 

It took us sometime to walk back to the hotel. After my third shower in the day, we went out to have a drink lying on one of their round sofas. So relaxing, but the drink I have picked is not really tasty.  

I went straight to sleep before 11pm! So healthy!
