Congrats!

It's difficult to get the gold award again this year. But we are happy to get silver, not bad!! The award is a great compensation of my newly purchased evening dress, haha, of course the hard work of every staff.
Boss was happy and we posed for photo together.
By the way, I finally used my wooden clutch from French Connection. Ah Lun and I loved it do much that we could not resist buying it back in March. But the overwhelming feedbacks from the female colleagues are amazing. It's really an excellent fashion piece to go with my Massimo Dutti aqua colour long dress.

Macau Day Trip (May 17, 2012)

I finally got my compensation leaves this week, and we decided to make a trip to Macau on Thursday. As we do not want to take Kailan to the dog hotel, so we just went there for a day trip. It's a tiring day, not because of travelling, but because we purchased an old wooden bench, 3 stone monkey statues, a glass cake holder and a ceramic home accessories on the way we travel. I know we are really crazy, but this was our Macau story. Apart from all our heavy home purchases, don't forget that Ah Lun was carrying one of the heaviest camera plus 3 lens and I was also carrying a mid-sized D7000. Sigh!

Happy Mothers Day - May 13

Originally I booked a lunch buffet to celebrate mothers day. But mom does not like the idea of spending so much on food, we then go back to have a late dim sum lunch. We got mom a cake following our lunch, and we stayed at my sister's place for a while. Mom was quite happy indeed, so no matter the style of celebration, mom just loves to be with her children.

Our watch appreciates in value!!

Wakaka!! Just saw the watch I bought for Ah Lun this Valentine's Day on the magazine. We got this at HK$800 from a shop in Wanchai, and this new shop is selling over HK$2100 now.
We are definitely not re-selling this watch, but the feeling is great as you know the watch value appreciates.

Though it's a though project, but i feel so excited that i have a chance to meet with these two important designers in the world.
Kelly Hoppen, great designer for home and she has been working on homes for many super stars!!

Julien Macdonald, Fashion Designer of the Year 2001, created many glamorous dresses for celebrities. his latest clients include Rihanna and Beyonce.

Such an honor to meet them and hear their great stories.

GREAT Britain Campaign

May 10 is a GREAT sunny day!  

We have the perfect weather to do the photo shoot. Love the branded star ferry! 

On a junk with celebs to capture a shot featuring the VIPs, HK iconic skyline, and the branded star ferry. Totally melted after working on the junk for an hour. 

After all these shots and clips, a video was edited by Wingo in 3 hours. Great capture!

Evening party is also GREAT, with performance by Tumblina. 

Julien Macdonald made really glamorous dresses. He is so generous saying that he loves my shoes after i facilitated the media interview with him, He is such an inspiration! 

I really started to think going to London, may be after the Olympics. 

陳美玲要小心

昨晚自己一個入書房，看見阿倫的電腦上pause的畫面，第一秒被嚇親，之後就覺得真係好好笑。這個真是一個怪人，連在網上看電影都看騎呢野。
我最後問佢看乜戲？他說ghost rider......駕電單車的主角會變身成骷髏頭骨，跟住就著火啦！
我心諗只有佢咁騎呢嘅人先會睇！陳美玲以後要小心保護自己的頭啊！

食草的少女

Peonies

It's been a while we did not get some flowers to fill up the vases. The florist at the wet market in Tsing Yi got some really nice large-sized peonies this weekend. The colour is very special too! Love them at my first sight!
One bunch costs $38, but $100 for 3 bunches!! What a great value, and this saves Ah Lun's some money for the weekend grocery.
So happy to see them blossoming in half a day.

I am cooking today. And they taste good!
