Wednesday date #5 - Feb 24

We are going back to Ikea to buy a stepper for Megan. And you can't believe we ended up spending another HKD1,300. 

Of course, the dinner is the highlight. 

Cannot take the desserts placed on the left side. Feeling so happy with the table filled with food. 

Play & Read Corner for Megan

We love transforming our flat to fit everyone's needs. 

Megan has so many stuff that we bought a big wardrobe to keep our flat tidy. 

As Megan is growing up, she needs a set of table and chairs to read and play. 

Handyman had built the ikea furniture this week. Megan loves it, and starts reading in the chair instead of sitting into our lap.

Chef Lun

He does not need a recipe to follow, he created the batter by himself yesterday because he is not adding artificial baking powder and add very little sugar. It's kind of amazing to me, because I follow the recipe word by word. 

He prepared the red bean paste by his own too. I was impressed his dedication for Megan. 

The final product looks great. He even set the timer and instruct tin tin and me how to create the same fish cake. 

Tin tin made the fish cake this morning. Megan finished one fish. 

Meeting BFF

BFF meeting is the last CNY gathering this year. We have expanded so quickly, and it's crazy that we had so many people. 

Megan looked at the camera, cheated by me saying there are cats in that phone. 

Gambling game pleased adults and kids. They had a candy bank for kids. 

Poor Scarlett it must be very scary for you. So many people!! 

Meeting Jess and friends

Megan needed time to warm up. After crying for a bit, we told her that there are meow meow in the house, she stopped crying immediately. After some warm up, she played with anything in the house. Poor me, my eyes following her every second to make sure she did not break anything in the house.

This is the milk for Ah Lun. So Megan said 奶奶，papa! We are wondering why she knew this is also milk!!

Wednesday date #4 - Feb 17

Our Wednesday date has stopped for a while because I was so busy and away for biz trip. We resumed it after CNY and it's also a belated Valentines Day celebration. 

We had a good appetite last night and we ate so so much. We feel that our tummy will explode after drinking water. 

We say we should not eat that much next time!! 

Anyway, we had a great time. It's so much joy in the date. 

I told ah Lun that we did not take a picture together at the restaurant. So he just forced me to do that selfie on the way to the car park. That's how I declined his request. 

ABC

It's difficult to find a nice alphabet poster. I ordered one from etsy. It's nice but it keeps falling down as we only stick it onto the wall. 

Yesterday, I found something nicer. It's a tea towel made by famous typography designer from Denmark, Arne Jacobsen. 

This is washable and I can pinned it in the notice board. So cool!! 

Creativity

Sometimes Ah Lun's creativity will surprise you. Like this flower arrangement! The milk container looks so cool. 

I love it so much, so tasteful. Yellow vs blue also very pretty. This is my Valentine's Day flowers.

Valentine's Day 2016

It's Sunday, and also Valentines' Day! 

As we did not ask Tin Tin to work, we had a busy Sunday. Great that Ah Lun did not need to work, so we had a nice family day.

Ah Lun drove us to the rose garden in Central yesterday. Everyone parked on the street, so we followed. 

We just parked next to the exhibition. Haha. We reached the place after this walk of 2mins. Haha. 

It's a beautiful set-up, and packed with people. It must be very very nice in the night time. 

We cannot move really, so we get some air by the water. 

She just wanted to sit there. ;)

After that, we had some time on the lawn. She never had a still moment, i was so tired after the trip. 

Ah Lun asked Megan to let him sleep on her lap. So funny! 

Such a happy day to play in the lawn. Our Valentines Day has changed so much this year. But still, very sweet.

CNY 2016 - Chor 4 (Feb 11)

Okay, finally I had time to try the waffle machine!! Just something fun and different for Megan. 

Well, the upper side looks uglier. 

The other side looks perfectly good. 

In the afternoon, we went to have bbq with ah lun's family at our usual spot at 青龍頭. Before that, just take a family snap near our car park. 

We occupied the whole area, and another family joined us in this corner an hour later

CNY 2016 - Chor 3 (Feb 10)

Its another quiet day because we wanted to let Megan to get a break from the CNY hectic schedule. 

We did go out for a short walk in the afternoon though. Today we picked camel with us. 

This is how we put camel at the stroller. So funny. 

Practice how to walk up and down the stairs. 

She's such a big girl now. I remembered I took a similar picture when she's so tiny.
