DIY tees

I always wanted to make new born tees for Megan. But I was too busy. Finally I got an opportunity to do this. 

Made three tees in one go. Two newborns and one toddler.

Business Trip 2016 #3 - Dubai

It's a super fast long haul trip again. I am minimizing my stay in Dubai to 4 days, inclusive two 8-hour flights. 

Staying at JW Marriott Marquis this time. 5-star. But could not get upgraded and sat in the middle of some mainland Chinese tourists in the back of the plane. 

I missed the last trip in Jan, with upgrades and limousine ride. 

Coming with 11 travel agents from Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. They are pretty nice! 

Best cocktail party at Armani Hotel ever! Nice set-up, good food, cool people! How wonderful!

Megan needed time to warm up. After crying for a bit, we told her that there are meow meow in the house, she stopped crying immediately. After some warm up, she played with anything in the house. Poor me, my eyes following her every second to make sure she did not break anything in the house. 

Racing Night 2016

January is a terribly busy month. Our company's annual event is happening in Jan this year, but I was also engaged in a business trip in Dubai. 

I think my life has not been busier ever. 

The support system at home is in place to make me feel better. 

I finally got really sick after my hectic Dubai trip, because 2 nights out of 3 in my trip, we were splitting sleep on the plane and in the hotel. Let's say 3hrs on the plane, 4hrs in the bed, then straight to start breakfast meeting at 7:30am. It seems that 2016 will be a challenging year. 

Anyway, Racing Night was over finally last night, it's time catching up with other client work.

We have an in-house designer now, so all the collaterals and production items were arranged by her. Things are much prettier and holistic. 

Boss looked like the fortune teller we are hiring. He's doing a forecast for me. 

Core team. Three of us covering each other. Great team work.

2016 business trip #1

Hello Dubai! I miss you but I am missing my family more. 

It's really hard to leave Megan now, as she's very clingy to me. Serious crying in the afternoon when I left home for airport and Ah Lun for work. Not sure if that's part of the side effect of vaccine taken yesterday. 

It will be the shortest trip to Dubai ever. 2-day meetings in Dubai and we are spending two nights on the plane. 

Well, they booked both of us on business class, first time I don't need to email EK office asking for an upgrade. Cheers! 

However, the nightmare arrived after check-in. Cannot believe there's still such an old fashioned hotel in Dubai. 

I do not stay in fancy hotels all the time. 

Back to the 80s! I don't want to sit over there. 

It's close to 5am in the mid night in HK. I had nothing to do but to take a look of my daughter from the IP camera. 

Annual Leave (Dec 4)

Today's ah lun's birthday, but he needs to work. I just ordered his favorite cake and got a present (iPhone 6s) for him. I had to attend the company's Christmas party, so I was rushing home to meet Ah Lun before the end of Dec 4. 

She's called stripy Megan that day. Blue and white strips from head to toe. 

Play time with Megan between emails and conference call.

Our team picked street fighters, so we are e-Honda that night. We just got a sumo wrestler outfit from taobao.

Annual Leave (Dec 1)

It's Tuesday, I need to work at night so we just had a short play time downstairs. 

She just loves holding hands with one of us. She just wanted freedom now.

First visit to my event

Our team is running a booth at Windsor House from Sep 11-13 for our client. Massive work before hand. Finally the design is coming to reality.

We all have sore legs as we have to stand for 8 hours per day. I took two hot baths to relieve my leg muscles, but we are going to have a foot massage celebration.
