Lots of imagination but lack of skills to express it. 

She knew a lot of words and drew them on the drawing board. Tin tin is so kind to put the text next to it, so I knew what she had drawn in the day. It's so hilarious. 

Wheels on the Bus

This is Megan's favorite song. She  especially loves singing "babies on the bus goes wa wa wa, all the long" after she's crying or some other babies are crying. 

We therefore got the new picture book for her lately and we just need to sing the song a few times per day. 

Obviously Tin Tin is aware of this too, and she made a bus for Megan from a carton box. 

How sweet is she and she's really loving Megan. She's an art lover and Megan lover. 

Feeling thankful for her great service in the last two years. Yesterday marked her  second anniversary. 

Look at those details. Even the fine lines are cut out from the colour paper. 

This belongs to Megan. How cute is this.

Am I supposed to record my daughter's artwork? Now I am creating a collection of tin tin's art. I did not ask her to do this, she proactively did these food art. I just told her that she can use my food art tools. 

This is Saturday dinner. When we are out for playgroup she had a 2-hour break. She prepared the dinner nicely and also cleaned the house and had a shower. She's really efficient. 

Megan had salmon rice with lots of veggies. Lately she loves tomatoes.

Tin tin must draw the cow because of this song which is loved by Megan.

My First Balloon Art

We had nothing to do before knowing there's an ad hoc BFF kids party. So I asked tin tin to teach me making a balloon dog. It's the easiest thing to make according to her. 

Not bad. It's quite easy! 

What can I say?

Tin tin is such a good teacher, with an artistic sense. 

Today she made a bunch of colorful butterflies and stick them into the alphabet tea towel. 

I have already got lots of book about colors, but tin tin is trying to reinforce what we have told Megan. 

I bought some colorful papers from Ikea last week, and it's amazing that she created these beautiful butterflies. 

Megan is already knowing all colors in English. This is quite amazing.

Feeling so blessed and lucky to have tin tin, because she treats our daughter like her own. She is super patient and teaches her things every day. She made handicrafts to play with Megan. I think Tin Tin also enjoyed playing with her. 

The star is made for singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She learnt the word star a few months ago. 

The fish was made by paper plate. Last Saturday, she saw me making rabbit crown with paper plate so she used this as art materials. 

If I were Megan, I will be happy too. Thank you Tin Tin.

She loves the shape of stars. So we were learning all about shapes in this activity 

Easter Fun

This morning, I made this rabbit crown for Megan. She kept putting it into Kailan's face. Poor Lan lan. 

Art Class #2

Today, I used some existing toys or paper roll to teach her the concept of shapes. 

Currently she only knows "star" because of the twinkle twinkle little star song. 

My intention is to let her stamp the shape. She cannot resist using her finger to make finger painting. 

Same recipe. Flour, salt and water. This round. I made it more watery. 

Blocks from the shape sorter. I originally wanted to shape the toilet paper roll into shapes. Suddenly I think of these plastic blocks! Yeah!! 

May be the paint is only in one color she was getting bored easily. After clean-up, I suggest painting with water. I drew a fish to get her attention. 

Another quick art class completed. 

Art Class #1

I have been searching for a while... No paint found in HK are suitable for kids below 3 years old. Crayola has one product that is advised for 3 years old. There are not many art supplies online stores that import the completely safe paint for toddlers. I felt defeated. 

It's quite a bad news as I need to make it as I am so busy. To take the first step, I will need to buy the food coloring as these bakery shops are not centrally located nor on my way back to work everyday. 

Since I am seeing a Chinese doctor to heal my inflammatory tendons near my hip bone in Lok Fu (due to carrying heavy Megan), I finally went to the bakery shop in the wet market there. $8 per bottle, great!! 

There are so many recipes in making natural paint online. I picked the easiest one, flour, salt and water. 

I am using the ice cube tray (used for making her food ice cubes) for this activity. Great paint palette. 

She loved blue in the beginning. She was exploring the thick paint one by one. 

She tried to put the paint into the mouth, I stopped two times but she was so fast that she succeeded in her third time putting some over her lips. She showed a disgusting look as the paint is salty. Haha. After that, no more attempts. 

It kept her busy for at least 20mins. After using the fingers, I let her to use a wooden spoon. This is to provide Her tools to explore the possibilities. 

Towards the end, she used both hands to do finger painting. She even poured all colors into the paper. That's the true definition of messy play. 

In theory, she's quite clean. I just need to wash her hands only... She's not touching her face or clothes. Good job Megan. 

CNY 2016 Laisee Collection

I am still keeping this tradition though I am so busy at work or personal level. Luckily, all the family dinners were arranged beforehand, and our own family dinner was done in late afternoon to fit Megan's schedule. 

I always wanted to get this done earlier, but I end up burning the midnight oil for this Laisee design, AGAIN!!! 

Why? I had to visit the shop and get some inspirations from the materials I have got. 

I am quite happy with this as I am a polka dot freak.

I was at Union Hospital doing my annual post-partum check-up during the playgroup time last Saturday. This is the first time I missed the playgroup. But this looks like a fun session as daddy and Megan made something spectacular together! 

They dipped the beads into the white paint and let them roll in a tray lined with a black art paper. How creative to make it a great activity with a beautiful outcome. 

The next playgroup will be after new year. I miss going with Megan to the playgroup. 

A super duper Saturday!! (May 24)

First of all, I got a nice hair cut and treatment to my messy hair! 

Even though I need to work on a ppt in between the waiting time, it's an efficient cut! I always hate waiting at the salon wasting time. 

Before heading to the clinic for acupuncture, I made a stop at JCrew, the first store in Asia in fact. 

Located at IFC, great addition to the mall. 

Beautiful wall deco at the changing room corner. There's a cute puppy drawing there. 

All purchase in the first few days after opening will come with a bunch of flowers. Such a nice and classy gift! 

Its simple, pretty, classy and stylish. Just like Jcrew! 

After that, we are going to celebrate Cat's wedding/birthday, and Connie's and Joyce wong's birthdays. 

We start with a pottery class. It's so much fun. I made Kailan and two fishes. I want to make more but we were running out of time. 

Following the pottery class, we started a nice dinner there. Nice set-up which is great for our chat! 

We arranged a ceremony for cat to 金盆洗手。

Valentine's Day 2014

上年我訂了氣球，我決定唔翻炒，即係唔慶祝，哈哈！

不過我們守唔到秘密，一早就送了禮物給對方。佢成日都唔捨得買運動服，於是我一口氣買哂不同長度的運動褲，佢都不知幾高興，以後去gym就型仔哂。而我的禮物就是一條在kapok店買的頸鏈，兩個星期前行街街時買的，我太不小心比佢知道我鐘意條鏈，佢就粗爆地阻止我自己比錢。於是，這就是我的情人節禮物了。有點無奈啦，但這是我非常喜歡的accessory。

情人節的前幾日，阿倫放假竟然做了一個非常有創意的蛋糕。外型像蕎麥面，其實係蛋糕。我今次真的很surprised，外型實在要比10個趣。面條是用栗子蓉做的，而魚蛋說係嘉頓蛋糕卷，笑死啦！這個大禮在情人節前已經送出了，所以真正的情人節都不是太重要啦。

當晚，都係阿倫放工之後煮--- 心型蝦及帶子意粉。其實，真係醫肚為主。 我呢，梗係做唔等駛野，情人節卡已經畫在玻璃窗上了。
