It was a hectic Q1 2012. Things do not slow down for a minute. I cannot imagine that my blog was left unattended for such a long time.
Finally, i got some quiet time to sit down and update my blog.
The annual mega roadshow took place on March 20 in Hong Kong and March 22 in Singapore. The Hong Kong event at The Mira was really good. Thanks to an user-friendly set up and excellent operations team, the event was ended with resounding success.
With such a great start in Hong Kong, the event in Singapore could not meet up everyone's expectation. We booked Marina Bay Sands as most of the hotels were full. However, it proved that this is a completely wrong choice. The venue is so big that you cannot mobilize the staff to complete a simple task in a timely manner. The attitude of staff is another issue. They are not helpful at all and asked for money for some really standard items we expected to be in the package.
Anyway, we learn to improve every year, and let's hope for a perfect roadshow next year.

Checking into The Mira Hong Kong on March 19 for the very first time. Just a very simple room which is good but i don't get any view of Nathan Road!!!

Genuine interests from the travel trade.
The finger food have kept them in the room for so long. :)

OK, finally checking into Marina Bay Sands. This is my view, heard that this is the new botanical garden which is not yet completed.

The room is very basic, just like many other family resorts.
The balcony was too big for me though. It's actually the 2/3 of the bedroom size.

Going out for dinner after event set up and we just happened to see the laser show at Marina Bay. It's a bonus.

OK. We kept coming back to the Marina Bay Mall for food. We had dinner at TWG there. There's no way to get a table in Hong Kong, let's dine in Singapore.

Salad for me, as it's close to 9pm.

But after having the dinner, how can we miss the dessert?!

After the event finished, we went to Chatterbox to have my favourite Chicken Rice.
The girls love this too,

On the last evening, we had dinner with client at Mozza which is a very nice and expensive Italian restaurant. The wagyu beef is really amazing. I also saw some nice tropical flowers there. Have not seen it in other places!
