2014 Birthday Celebration #3 - July 26

Meeting up with BFF in Soho East on my birthday so that everyone can pick up the pottery works from the shop. Killing two birds in one stone.

As the restaurant is not letting us to stay long, so I suggested a punishment scheme, and it turned out so much fun.

I was the first one to arrive, followed by Ball Ball and Anton. We are the most punctual ones. Joyce Ip and Joyce Wong managed to arrive before the 1:05pm deadline. Meanwhile, Ah Yea, Donna, Cat and Flora in one cab got traffic jam on their way. And Connie got onto the wrong train, so funny.

The lunch gathering was so happy because Joyce Wong bring along 自拍神棍 and the cafe was filled with laughters!

After the gathering, we went back to the shop to collect the pottery works.

This was such a happy day and we also fixed our next overnight gathering in Hong Kong.

My colleagues suddenly said they could not join the lunch, and I counter proposed cancellation.

Online Shopping - Hoppetta

可能是受爸爸的影響，我都是個喜歡買些有質量的東西，然後用一段很長的時間。他常常說：好東西就是貴，平野無好野。

遇上要買bb用品，可說是一大挑戰。1.在香港這個蚊型市場，選擇不多！2.設計太彩色而無格調，放在家就成為了eye sore ！3.bb女不一定要穿粉紅色吧！

由於要考慮長遠一點，如果將來有個仔（仲生到的話），我想大部份的物品都可以重用。本著這個目標，我所買的東西都是neutral colour and sex。這就是一個不太feminine的媽媽會購物的東西。

源於爬了一些台灣blogger的文章，知道了這個hoppetta品牌。他們的6層紗巾睡袋最有名。一看website就不可收拾了，買了很多設計漂亮但又functional的用品。

拆禮物！從台灣的店運過來的。

一看都是黑白灰，是媽媽愛的顏色。

從上至下，左至右：

老鼠cotton mat, crown pillow, 口水巾on baby carrier, breast feeding cover, 奸狗芥蘭，外出收納袋及sleeping bag.

這個就是人氣產品，見tag。好像說不太熱又保暖之類。我沒有選擇最受歡迎的蘑菇設計，原因都是太彩色（其實都比較柔和了），最後我選擇了米色的小綿羊設計。

又是老鼠，正呀！

手工漂亮到不行！看到小波老鼠鼻，米字眼及四角的波希米亞tassel 嗎？背面的pattern 都好美的！好開心啊！

Prenatal Class 2 - July 24

It's an intensive 2-hour class. Lots of practices!

Though I am planning to breast feed my baby, there are times I need to know how to make formula milk. All the steps like sterilizing the bottles were taught last night. The second part was about changing nappies.

It's an interesting class anyway.

Look forward to attending the next class, hope they will share more about breast feeding...

Silhouette

I almost see beautiful sunrise everyday when I wake up at 6:30am this summer. The golden sunbeams just light up my apartment, so beautiful.

This Monday, I was taking a look of the other side, I saw my shadow on the wall, so I was inspired to take this beautiful silhouette photo.

I have to admit this was taken by iPhone only! Love it.

Jane Salomons is back!

So happy to see Jane and her kids last night! Jade and Alec are 15 and 13 years old now. Time flies so quickly!

When I was clearing my place for my nursery, I found out the card Jane had produced after the birth of Alec. How amazing are the changes.

Jade and Alec are so pretty, like mommy. And Jane has not changed a bit, still in good shape and I still remember her smile.

時間過得太快，我的懷孕週期已經進入最後階段，肚皮開始快速擴張。

My heart is melted

I love surprise so much! He brings home a bunch of white roses on his way back today. I am flattered because we like white flowers. And this bunch is in its full bloom. I am showing off to Kailan now...

Nursery Chair

First piece of furniture arrived today.

My nursery room is so small that we could not get a one-seater sofa. So I have to source a compact and comfy chair. Got this from Ikea, quite economical too. Kailan is loving it!! She is just camera shy. :)

Stretch marks prevention...

First of all, I am prepared to have stretch marks because my mom got them, lots of them!! I believe this is genetic! But I am still hoping that I can get rid of them in the end. I am keeping my mind positive while preparing for the worst.

Before 12 weeks, I bought the almond oil from loccintaine. I did not have a belly by that time, but I still put the almond oil on...

As my belly started to show slightly, mother court sales promoted mambino set to me. I loved the citrus smell so I switched it. But Ah Lun said I smell like 果皮蒸魚. Okok, I won't stop because of his comment.

One month later, Sally sent me two bottles of Clarins body treatment oil. It's so expensive, so I am really grateful. But you know, when you apply the oil to the skin, you have to be generous to keep skin eleastic. It's heartbreaking when you see the oil running out quickly! The smell is so classy, like the spa products. But Ah Lun had another comment on the smell even though it smells so good. This guy is just hard to be pleased.

Not sure if I will change it again in the last trimester but it seems it is the best product advised by Sally. Let's see.

Our first prenatal workshop!

I just did not want to waste time to attend sponsored workshops for new parents. After checking with my colleague who attended the class from Union Hospital, she said it's not promising and there were too many people there. After knowing this, I know I want something efficient and not hard sell.

I found one workshop to be conducted in small class. The cost is $1080 for 4 classes and each class takes only 2 hours. It's comparatively shorter and sounds like a more experiential workshop. The class was conducted by a midwife, so it sounds like professional. The class also taught us how to hold new born babies, this is the most useful part in class 1. Ah Lun and I had a chance to practice.

Though the workshop was not sponsored by any organization, we did get some freebies! But during the class, the teacher never mentioned the products. Very good.

Summer sunsets

Last year, we watched a lot of sunsets on our drive home or we specifically drove to places like Sheung Wan and Kwun Tong to take pictures of sunset.

This year, I am so busy (Two roadshows in Q3 and one staff is leaving!!) I usually leave office after 7 now. It's our first sunset picture this summer when I left office at 7. The nature is so pretty, and I really like summertime.

IKEA

Nesting in progress. We are looking for a comfy nursing chair with arm rest. In the past, Franc Franc had some attractive chairs in bold colours. But in the last two seasons, they did not have any great looking chair.

I finally buy a $799 ikea padded chair. My nursery room is too small to fit in a one-seater sofa, so have to find a seat that's compact.

We decided to make our second visit on on a week night to avoid the crowd. But the ikea cafe is still very very full. Ah Lun ordered almost everything on the menu but saying he is not full when he left.

I mainly had the salmon, one veggie potato cake and chips. The rest were consumed by Mr Tse.

Leg Cramp #1

I have been worrying about this for a long time. The leg cramp almost happened a few times, but I managed to flex my muscles to stop them.

Yesterday was a long day. Finished work at 7pm. After having dinner with ah Lun, I continued working at home until 11:30pm.

Not sure if this was a long day causing me leg cramp. But it was really bad, the sad thing was Ah Lun was not around incidentally in the bedroom. Ouch...... This was so painful.

Sunday morning...

It's a productive morning because we went to TST after Ah Lun has finished his early morning job.

Harbour city was so spacious and quiet on Sunday morning and there were only a few mainland tourists.

We need to buy something from LogOn, got a Japsnese CD, had a quick lunch at food court, followed by a tour at City Super. Wow, everything just finished before 12noon. How amazing!!

Since the car park was deserted, I requested for a picture to be taken there. The only comment from Ah Lun is I looked like 高達...... He enjoyed himself taking the picture from a nice angles itch the dramatic sky.

26 weeks 6 days. Very happy that I still could wear this vest. I just need a Bella band to lie underneath.
