BFF holiday 2013 - Bangkok (Day 3 & 4)

Haha! Love the hotel I have booked again. That's really stylish in lovely and relaxing hues. 

Interestingly, when I stepped out from the car, I met my colleague Windcy! What a coincidence. But this hotel reflects our taste, and this is no surprise to bump into fashionable and elegant Windcy.

Our room - equipped with a dining area and a kitchen. Mango sticky rice to replace the normal fruit basket, is it awesome? 

Love all these neutral colours. Everything looks perfect. It's a home away from home.

By the way, we feel so guilty about the food intake this week. So we are doing exercises in mid night! Feeling so much better after the gym section.

A fresh new start on Sunday with the best pancakes and waffles I have ever had in my life. They are so fluffy and tasty. Of course the restaurant is nicely decorated, French style with little touches of American flavors. 

Photographer Joyce Wong keeps saying this is her best shot, because it is showing the feminine side of me (?) 

Honestly speaking, I like the window design so much and thank you for taking a picture of me with that! That's so awesome to look at the green from Cafe Claire.

BFF holiday 2013 - Hua Hin (Day 2)

So happy that our day 2 started with great weather. Had some fun by the pool when sunshine is here. 

It's also time for us to explore this beautiful hotel. Amazing decor with lots of details.

After the morning outdoor fun, we went to the town to explore some attractions. 

It is confirmed that its a boring town. We decided to spend a posh afternoon at Asara Spa, followed by the dinner at Kampu which is located in the same hotel. Very nice hotel by the way. 

BFF holiday 2013 - Hua Hin (Day 1)

Just keeping my words to make the BFF trip as an annual thing. I will commit as long as I can go. 

Joyce Wong and I decided to stay in Hua Hin for two nights after our business trips. I am always interested to stay at nice and beautiful hotel, so this time is no exception. 

Our first choice is Lets Sea, but all their studio pier rooms are full. I therefore did another round of research and decided to stay in Devasom which is a boutique resort which has a European style twist. 

Our room is in the cheapest category, but its still very nice. 

The theme colours are pale green and light greyish blue. 

Nice romantic dinner with Joyce Wong. 

The dinner at the hotel is not too expensive but the food is really great! 

Business Trip 2013 - Bangkok (Day 2 - 4)

The event went well and we had not enough seats in the end. More than 82 people attended the event, its 20pax more than the guaranteed number 60. 

First time seeing such a beautiful flower arrangement on the podium. Love, love, love! 

To celebrate the end of seminar, we decided to go to Sky Bar which is an outdoor bar sitting on Level 64 in a hotel downtown. The view was amazing and I wish I had brought along the DSLR with me...

I did not get any alcohol, but still the happy hour is extremely happy. 

Feeling hungry after standing in the wind for 2 hours...so we went to a Japanese cafe called "on the table". Awesome food! Best day ever! 

Because the food is so good, I decided to come back to this place for lunch on my own the other day. Ordered that sushi again, extremely delicious. By the way, I also love how they present the food. That's really my style.

Business Trip 2013 - Bangkok (Day 1 - Sep 22)

We stayed at Intercontinental Bangkok this time. Very close to Central World, not bad at all. 

We managed to arrive Bangkok before typhoon Usagi landing into HK. But the weather here is not very sunny too. 

First dinner at a nice cheap Thai cafe. Delicious Tom yum gong soup and other stuff. I especially like the natural and retro deco at the cafe.

Mid-Autumn Festival 2014

Finally finishing all family gatherings, and get Ah Lun to have a western meal with me tonight. We love the pork knuckle at Pizza Stage so much. Oh my god, we had much more food than the 4-pax table next to us. We feel so contented after the meal. Life is simply good.

That's me pretending doctor at Tak Ching kindergarten and pretending nurse at office. I love my light blue dress from Cos so much, but interestingly, my colleagues always said I look like a nurse when I wear this. Finally, I requested my neighbor to bring along her nurse hat for photo-taking. This dress is my first purchase at Cos. Love it!

請人食屎！

I wanted to wrap up my Friday lunch with  a jelly. I went to the supermarket and they are selling Hk$24 for 3. So I treated my colleagues. 

They wanted to wait until tea time to finish them. So I have to put these into the fridge. 

In order not to let others to eat the jellies, I wrote this! 

When they eat them, I requested for this photo to continue with the story.

It's arrived!

Yeah, the turquoise bridesmaid dress has arrived yesterday. It's the biggest box I have ever got. I think Kailan can fit into the box! 

Anyway, this size fits my waist but its a little bit loose in the bust and hips. I will take it for alteration closer to the date. 

Wow! Big box. Glad to have car pick-up last night. 

"Is this for me?" Kailan said. 

So loose around my hips! Should get more tailored to fit my body shape. 

Big feast on a normal weekday

We have ordered 3 big dishes plus one big soup. Ah Lun also cleared 2.5 bowls of rice. Amazing amount of food! Crazy Tse's. 

Time flies!

Joanna Ma and Ah Wing today celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. In fact, we had a similar idea earlier before we get the invitation from Joanna. 

I planned to book Aqua Luna again for our 5th wedding anniversary party. I even told ah Lun that I will check the price tomorrow. In the end, I calculated again, we are actually celebrating our 6th anniversary. I totally forgot that we celebrated our 5th anniversary in Morocco! Meiling is really crazy!!!!!! Wakaka. Therefore the plan was cancelled in the end. 

It's a nice party today, and its surprising to see all the old faces including Nicole, Brenda and some of those guys who were ah wong's friends. Food is awesome!!!
