Megan is turning over for two consecutive mornings. I was scared when I found this out in the camera. 

As she's more mobile these days, she turns over after waking up to kill time.

All of a sudden she can sit quite well without any assistance for a short period of time. 

Private clinic visit - 6m check-up

Visiting the private doc for a vaccine shot, also curing the recent eczema outbreak!  

The clinic is less busy, we just spend a short time waiting. 

Megan loves eating

Megan weighs 7.7kg, doubling her weight when she's born. After introducing solids for 3 weeks, she's getting more interested to eat. She was so eager to finish her salmon congee with veggie. After than we also gave her sweet potato and carrot purée. Amazing! 

Now, she is okay to completely replace the 11am feeding with solids. Well done.

She is such a character and she always makes me laugh.

In the morning, I let Megan and Kailan to interact more. Kailan usually sniffs baby for a long time. I hope she smells friendship instead of hostility. 

Just melted my heart

I have not bathed megan for more than 10 days, because of my crazy work schedule! Thanks Ah Lun for being so accommodating. 

I told Ah Lun that I wanted to bathe her last night. So he's driving me back home from office and let me do this. 

I know this makes things more complicated, but he is happy to make this happen. Sobbing...

I treasure any of these baby care-taking tasks out of my busy work schedule. When I put her to sleep and see her innocent, that's the best reward for all hard work lately.

I have no regret to return to work earlier even though work has been crazy lately. This just makes me more capable in time management and treasure the very little time we spent together. 

Indicator of humidity

No need to check with HK observatory, you know the humidity level by checking Megan's hair. 

You can see today is dry. 

This is the only time I interact with you everyday. I treasure this 15-20mins of quality bonding time. 

Baby, sorry for spending so little time with you these weeks. I am learning new things at work too. You are my incentive for being a better and capable person. 

I cannot thank your daddy more. He does not only look after the family but also give me so much advice. 

We are so so lucky to meet each other and have the easiest baby on hand plus a hard working helper. I cannot ask for more. Truly blessed. 

6m check-up at government clinic

It's time again for Megan to visit the child and maternal centre to get the immunization. The nurse is not friendly as always, that really sucks! 

Anyway, baby's development is okay and she was sitting straight without assistance in front of nurse which she seldom does that at home. 

The vaccine shots x3 is the highlight. She is more alert now, and she's trying to escape from the shots. She was looking at Ah Lun and its like why are you not saving me!! She cried much longer than the last visit at around 4m old. 

It's really heartbreaking and I also shed a tear because she's feeling so painful. Even Ah Lun said he wanted to cry (but he did not)! Her sobbing really broke our hearts. Only those who have encountered this situation would understand.

Swap it!

Just secured my second deal on the Facebook swap-things group. Such a good platform for me to sell my stuff which were seldom or gently used. 

First deal was a Fishe Price toy for newborns. Got it too late from a business partner so have to sell it half price. 

Second deal is the Simple wishes hands free breast pumping bra. I just used once. Great condition. Hope the buyer will meet up on time like the first buyer. 

I am so happy to get rid of the unused baby or maternity goods. It just don't worth to store some items for baby number two.

Daddy always like to carry Megan. Thank you Donna for selling the hip seat to me. It's great that we give a second life of the hip seat.

Boxed Flower for Kitty

Found another online florist to send kitty some flowers on her birthday. The product comes out quite good. It's good to send flowers who loves flowers too. 

First business trip after maternity leave

This is my first biz trip after my maternity leave. Very sad to leave Megan for so many days. Luckily, i could see my family from the IP camera and I got wifi most of the time. 

I cannot thank Ah Lun more as this has been a busy week for him. He has done a wonderful job as a father. When I am back Megan is more close to him, so they must have a great time together.

After the second or third night, I started to miss my family. What a coincidence I saw this shop in the mall. Is it so ridiculous? 

Mommy is finally back. No crying, but she's not very responsive to me. But after one morning playing with her, she's fine. 

Bonding of Daddy and daughter is strong

She keeps on rolling on our bed. Cannot stop her now. She looks so big after I am back. Amazed by her fast development!!

When megan was taking milk at her nursery room, Kailan just sleeps outside the room. When we moved megan to the chair, Kailan will sleep next to her chair. It's so sweet that she's accompanying megan all the morning.

Easter Holiday Day 5 - April 7

Busy picking up and giving away baby goods today. First stop at Cat's and then Donna's place. 

Apart from these, both of us enjoyed looking after baby Megan.

April 7 is Megan's 6 month birthday. We bought a cake but unfortunately we were so busy and forgot to cut the cake with baby. We were only aware of the cake after we put her into bed.

Easter Holiday Day 3 - April 5

Tine Tine is off today and Ah Lun needs to work, it's another typical Sunday without assistance. Frankly speaking, I am getting used to this. The worst thing is I also woke up at 5:40am because of the alarm set by Ah Lun. In fact, I feel blessed already as we could sleep from 11pm onwardsevery night. It's such a great decision to teach megan not to use any pacifier. 

Megan is very fretful in taking her usual lunch nap. Usually she just take the nap easily. Today she woke up after 30mins, it took her 40 mins to get back to sleep in tears. If she's unsettled, I cannot take my nap too, sadly. 

The highlight of my day was the tea time with my friend Cynthia at Maritime square. It's such a short gathering but it has brightened my life. As she's about 6m old, she's developed separation anxiety and she started to cry when seeing strangers. She just cried a bit during the gathering, not bad! 

This is a new place for me. Where's mommy?
