Weekend Fun (Feb 25-26)

It's a normal weekend but always busy and full of fun. Apart from the playgroup, tin tin gave Megan a painting session and I gave her a sensory session (sand playing).
We also had dim sum lunch and Megan is eating so clean now. It's so easy to handle her these days.
But I am sure the potty training session later in spring/summer time will be another challenge for me.

Big Girl Project 1

Megan has always been a great sleeper on her own. But occasionally bad dreams and sickness wake her up in the middle of the night. After she has recovered, bad sleeping habits are building up. We therefore have to rectify that before the problem gets more serious.
Before we joined the parenting class, I had a reward chart for many items (5-6). However, the teacher said the right way to do is to change one behavior at one time in one reward chart. Therefore I have come up with this one. She enjoyed really much, and it's normal that kids will stop doing what is told at one point. For Megan's case, she stopped on the 8th night. But she successfully completed the challenge. Well done, Megan. You get a book about moving things. Your favorite is dumper truck recently.

Good Bye Nottingham Children Campus

Today is Megan's last day at Nottingham.
It's been four wonderful terms here. She has learnt a lot and we definitely love the nursery rhymes in the last 12 months.
Thank you Papa for the transfers especially when he is in a rush for work before or after the playgroup. So much good memories here.
We are taking a break now and waiting in line for something that's more exciting.

心有靈犀

When we were dating in the old days, we always call each other in the same minute. Once I rang, the call was picked up in a second. This is a great memory with him.
Today, we thought of each other and bought the same chips for each other.
When he picked me up, I told him I bought this. He then showed me the same chip.
Omg! We are clearing the last two packets of chips at the supermarket. Such a sweet coincidence.

Simple but fun

Our weekend is getting simpler and simpler, but my heart feels contented. This did not happen when I was younger. May be you just need to wait for the age to come.
Megan is teaching Kailan to sing today. Kailan just sits next to her while she's playing with the puzzle, occasionally there's a couple of fights.
Megan still wanted to bring along her best friend mouse when she's out, but that's the fun part, as mouse was sleeping in the restaurant and sitting on daddy's shoulder like Megan.
Daddy is feeling a bit sad as she does not want to be carried this week. So as long as he can hold her or carry her, he is happy to do anything for her.

California pizza kitchen <3

Oh we missed this place. Still serving great casual family food we love. Megan learnt how to eat such a chewy pizza here, she was using all her efforts (trembling) to cut off the pizza, so hilarious. Pasta is her favorite, easy job! We should come more often.

Artsy Saturday

When I woke up on Saturday, we usually have nothing to do. We did not read books this morning. I suggested painting instead and my daughter was so excited. That's the happiest moment because I have already made her love art.
Cat my colleague ordered some painting tools for me. And we are experimenting them. Megan could not roll out the pattern but treated them as paint brush. Very cute.
After that we did finger painting and she enjoyed touching the slippery paint.

Goodbye to our Bugaboo Bee 3

We bought our bugaboo bee 3 when Megan was only 3m old. Until lately, I am considering for a change as I need a more handy and light stroller. Luckily I sold it online at HK$2800, not bad.
In fact this happened within the same day when I spotted a 50% off Quinny Yezz on FB. That's what I wanted recently and I love grey stroller. Got it at HK$900. It's a good deal given that it's quite new. The most amazing thing is I traded two strollers in Sai Yin Pun in 30mins. Thank you Tin Tin for cleaning the strollers and make them look like new.

Surprise

After CNY, Megan is in good health and we did not skip any school day so far. Everyday, Megan greeted almost everyone in the bus station. I guess she knows everyone in Tsing Yi now!!
My family was told that Megan will take school bus at 8am and we will be there earlier. After that we had a few surprise visits. Today, it's the third surprise and Megan was happy to see them.
It's quite embarrassing that we have a team of three to send Megan off to school. Megan is so loved.
Watching her to leave with a big smile is motivation for me everyday. I love you Megan.

Goodbye Bugaboo Bee

Finally we are saying good bye to the bugaboo bee 3. Sold it at $2800, got back 40% of the original price. Not bad.
After telling tin tin to clean it, it's like brand new and we regretted not to sell at a higher price. XD.
I also found the light stroller I like for a few months i.e. Quinny Yezz. It's light and stylish, got it from a French lady and she said it's just 4 months old. She definitely not as good as me, the stroller is still a bit dusty. But anyway getting the stroller at 50% off is a good deal. Tin Tin has to clean it today.
The best part of the deal is I trade two strollers in 30 mins at one spot, that's perfect.

Valentine's Day 2017

Instead of having an expensive meal on Valentines Day, we decided to celebrate our love one week before the V day.
Actually, we have been eating sweet dumplings a few times since the Chinese V Day.
He's been giving me surprise flowers since last week. They are so beautiful. The roses have just landed in Hong Kong and I have never loved roses that much.
On that evening, I got my gift that's a new set of calligraphy pens. I even got a bag from him. As ah Lun always did not like the gifting idea, so I really did not give him anything except kisses. Let's see how we go.

CNY 2017 - Chor 3 (Jan 30)

Yeah...we had our first family BBQ this winter. It's raining in the morning and suddenly it stopped. We decided to go ahead and the country park is all ours. It's not an easy task to look after a toddler while having BBQ. We were all fed by Lun, and I bet if he has any food in the end. Jeffrey brought along his drone, and it's so much fun.

CNY 2017 - Chor 2 (Jan 29)

It's time to meet with cousins and Lun's mom on the second day of CNY.
She's loved by her cousin. JB always wanted to kiss Megan and Lun's pretending to be jealous.
After that, Hoi Lin Fan at my place and grandparents are happy to see her again.
After that Megan fell asleep after all the excitements. And I were sleeping with her in the end. When we opened our eyes, everyone has gone haha. Back to home and we tried to cook healthy food for her. Kailan just stayed next to her to wait for any opportunities.

CNY 2017 - Chor 1 (Jan 28)

CNY2017 is Megan's second Chinese New Year. She's learning a lot about the festival in school. So when I tried to teach her gong hey fat choy, she can immediately repeat this.
We tried to take a family shot on Chor 1 as usual. With more than 10 shots, Kailan is still looking at her lover. That's already the best shot.
Loving my flowers selection as well as we can see some tasteful flowers at the flower market.
Chor 1 is always visiting my parents, followed by a visit to the temple with Lun's family.
