Meiling has become a STAR in May

Thanks Sally for sharing the free hand treatments with me last month, I had become a beauty spy in Cosmopolitan Magazine May 2010 Issue. I was not aware of the publishing date until Vivien of Tourism addressed me as Beauty Spy. Today, my colleage Carol informed me again, so I decided to find the magazine out and take a look!
In order to gain more coverage on Armani Dubai, I proactively contacted Ah Kot of Weekend Weekly upon my return. He was so kind to give me a full page for me to introduce the new happenings in Dubai. Normally, it was only a half page. What's a privilege!

oh...by the way...Cat will share my wedding story in June issue of Elle. I will continue to be high profile for a little while.

Rent - A - Puppy

This has reminded me how cute was Kailan when we first brought her home. She was just as tiny as a little rabbit. she is sitting under my seat now after giving me a few painful stratches on my arms. Ouch!

我得獎了!

Forevermark Competition
When I was in Dubai a couple of weeks ago, I spent a lot of time surfing the web. I found out that there is a competition organized by Forevermarks and the deadline was 9 May. As I could see there are not many people joining the competition by that time, so i thought the chance of winning may be a little bit high.
In fact I was fascinated by the grand prize which is a photo shoot by a renowned photographer. But I knew that I may not get the first prize. Now, i am one of the five 優異獎 winners, and i will be entitled to get the Philips digital photo frame. That's very cool already.

The Making of Edible Arrangements!

Connie's birthday celebration before our Japanese gathering

We decided to have a pre-tour gathering before our overseas gathering next week, and we can also celebrate with Connie on her birthday in advance. It's good that we had a chance to experience the product of Edible Arrangements (Thanks Cat!). Last night, we sent Connie a basket of fresh fruits, and we all love the pineapple flowers!

Photography 101 @ Nan Lian Garden

Ah Yea and Joyce Wong decided to bring their DSLR to our Japan tour next week. In order to familiarize with their cameras, we had a photo taking tour at Nan Lian Garden. The venue was picked simply beacuse Ah Yea wanted to find a "Japanese scenario" in Hong Kong. Nan Lian Garden, located just to the Diamond Hill MTR Station, looks exactly like a Japanese garden. If we are not going there, then Ah Lun suggested to go to 日本城 .....盡在日本城...lalalala! This is exactly ruining the beauty of this garden. :D

Cocktail Mixology @ Red SoHo

Cool stuff!
Peer Group Forum is our company's initiative, letting colleagues in the same grade in different teams meet and chat in a leisurely occasion. The management will take care of the bill of the event.
We really had something fun this time, unlike the previous lunch gatherings. Liz and Carol took us to the cocktail mixology class at RED SOHO.
Everyone was given a chance to make a cocktail he/she likes. I always enjoy to have fruity flavoured cocktail, so the bartender recommended this one for me.

Carefree Kailan

Look at her right rear leg...She always relax herself in her own stupid way. She now looks like a 麻甩佬sitting on a chair with one leg up in the air.

Belated Mothers' Day Celebration with Mom-in-law

We had dinner buffet at North Point Harbour Plaza Hotel which is near to my work place. It's good that i can arrive the venue on time. I gave her a little surprise by giving her a bunch of flowers. I picked my favourite peony and hydrangea, and together with natural green leaves.

Because there were not many people there, we started taking pictures with funny faces, and i am surprised that mom-in-law also enjoyed playing with us.

The celebration with my own mom will come on Friday. Look forward to that!
