I always forgot to check megan on IP camera during work hours. I mainly used the camera when she's sleeping. Perfect when we need to close the door to lower the noise outside. 

It's completely dark when we put up Gro Anywhere Blackout Blind. 

I am a mom!

I dressed up nicely for work and I had my leather jacket on today. When I almost arrived the office this morning, I was searching for my phone in my jacket pockets. I laughed out loud when I found that I got a baby handkerchief in my left pocket!!

Size matters

I cannot stop laughing when the waiter delivered the tea set to Ah Lun. It's super tiny for his appetite, and it's so small that he could swallow the udon in one go. 

His comment was 唔食好過食

Milestone // rolling over on her own

On the day before her 5m birthday, she suddenly rolled over on her own without our assistance. She's picking up her clothes near her knees and then flipped herself. Tin tin and I were super excited to witness this. She's quite calmed after doing this, haha. 

On the next two days, she did not do this again, and I am wondering if she has changed to other clothes which are more loosely fit. But she's practicing to move up her butt which may paved ways for crawling. 

Megan gave us a surprise on March 6th.

Megan just woke up having her hands exactly the same as her toy, mousse 

Milestone // no more swaddling

It was a painful experience to stop swaddling her. She kept rubbing her face and scalp which will intensify the eczema.  On the other hand, she could not sleep without swaddling. Such a dilemma which annoyed us so much. 

Taking advices from friends like Donna and my boss, we have to stop swaddling her. I free her hands on 28 feb evening and it's a successful attempt though I woke up literally every hour in the mid night. She started to learn sleeping without the receiving blanket so her sleep was too shallow. Megan's situation was even worse because she has colic at around 3am. 

Currently we still wrap her legs as her kicks kept her awake. After she's completely happy with her hands out, we will get rid of wrapping her legs. 

We finally bought a toy to look after megan. This is a mouse. I asked Ah Lun, what's her name. He just got a perfect name in less than 5 seconds. She's called mousse, chocolate mousse. How funny! Like the whole idea of typo behind the toy's name. 

Woke up and playing with mousse and she dropped it over her face. So cute. 

CNY 2015 - meeting with BFF

That's the first time for me to bring megan out this far on my own. I know it won't be a short meeting so I have to come with baby stroller in case megan is tired. On the other hand, baby stroller is only good when you have a car or your final destination is very close by the train station. 

What an adventure for a new mom, especially when megan couldn't sleep well and eat well recently. She became very grumpy after she's out. It's because she's so excited about the surroundings which makes her so tired. Poor baby! 

On the way back, I decided to take the train as I always like to train up myself handling baby on my own. It's interesting that I will need to find a new way of living because I was constantly looking for a lift. However it's always a much longer way to use the lift. We always hate to be slow, but I have no choice now. When megan is older with a strong body control ability, I will definitely use baby carrier more. 

Get ready! On my own to complete everything as Tin Tin is on leave and Ah Lun is working this Sunday

Meeting friends

It's the second weekend of CNY, and we are meeting ex-octagon friends and Poly U classmate Winny. 

Just had two great gatherings with the girls.

Eczema getting worse again, but we have to live with this. Hope the outbreak is getting milder and milder

Megan fell into sleep very quickly in the arms of kitty's. Its amazing 

Eleana was so great to give me a ride back home. That has already made my life easier. 

Megan was fed when she's back before we go out again. The next appointment is to meet Winny. 

Without kitty I had rocked megan into sleep successfully. Quite an achievement for me as we seldom put her into sleep out of home. 

Solly Baby Wrap

Bought it from its website while I was still pregnant. I tried using it when megan was below 3 months. But she did not like the new born position. So I was trying out again today, and she felt much better in classic baby wearing position. 

She's so interested to see the world now, so it seems she prefers to be held upright. 

We were both wearing white and it's two becoming one.

This will enable baby to stay very close to her heart, unlike baby carrier. In the end, megan fell asleep in the wrap on our way home.
