Books for toddlers

Megan will soon become a toddler and showing tantrums starting these days. It's all natural if you understand the reasons and how-to. Parenting is so new to me but I find peace through reading. 

To welcome the more challenging toddler years, new books had been ordered. 

Megan has always been a textbook baby. The books are like instruction manuals for me. 

Look forward to reading them one by one. 

I am like so many parents out there, feeling thankful for Gina. I cannot describe how she has helped me given that we do not want to follow our parents' advices on taking care of baby.

Our favourite spot for buffet. Lun did not have a lot because he just woke up.

Just had a shopping spree at Gap for the whole family. Megan is growing so fast and she's always running out of clothes in the right size.

Milestone // Putting blocks into the box

Started from yesterday, she learned this skill.

Sunset and Sunrise

Rushing home to play with Megan. Thanks Ah Lun for making this happen. 

Watching sunrise from Megan's home, after that, diaper changing time and feeding. 

Feeling contented after her first milk feed. Finished 235ml this morning. 

Going out to the living room for congee! Kailan greets her every morning. Sniff sniff! 

Feeding solid job is passed to Tin Tin so I can dress and ready for work. She's an easy to handle baby.

Rainbow connection

Megan has a very exciting weekend, she woke up by a bad dream. Daddy hugged her for 5 mins but she's crying up. Once I took her back and sang Rainbow Connection, the only song we played during pregnancy, she immediately calmed down. 

Very amazing!!

I am just hanging my trousers at the bathroom overnight. Ah Lun just put three knots over my trousers. Crazy! I am sure Megan will inherit his naughty genes.  

Sunday with family...

Exploring the busy Mongkok area because mommy is going to buy a new camera. 

Our girl is moving non-stop as she's in a stage of being curious all the time. Sometimes, she has really funny pose like this one. 

Megan is not afraid of height. This daddy just loves holding her. Good news for mommy!!

Happy Birthday 2016

It's another year...a year wiser hopefully! 

As my birthday falls on a Wednesday, I did not take leaves because there's a client call. My birthday leave was therefore scheduled on Thu and Fri to make a long weekend. 

Birthday dinners are lining up since late July. Very happy to meet my beloved friends. The chats are great and keeping me happy for a long time. 

This is the Korean BBQ place visited by G Dragon. Very spacious and food is good. 

Cake purchased by Kitty. It's from Zoe. The top layer is jelly and it's so pretty that I cannot describe by words. When I shared the photo with Ah Lun, he said it looks like Chinese Turnip Cake!!!! XDDDD

One evening before my birthday, I was working OT. After I m back home, the kitchen door was locked. He's busy making "something" for me. 

Finally I know the answer. He's imitating the Lady M cake. He thought he could buy one whole cake for me, but he cannot. So he decided to make one. 

So many layers, lots of sweat and "sum gei" there. 

Some nice flowers to go with the cake. I am flattered. 

Celebrating my birthday with BFFs. Too happy to meet them with non-stop laughters. 

On my day off, I redeemed my spa coupon at Four Season hotel.

My treatment ended with a pedicure. You know, I have not got pedi since I was pregnant. Desperately longing for this. 

Ah Lun came to pick me up and we had an early dinner at 4pm. We had it at Glasshouse at IFC. Very so-so food, not contented with it. But it's always nice to have a date with him. 

Seafood dinner with my family at Tung Chung. I really love seafood. 

The cake they have ordered is a famous one from Hokkaido. Such a creamy but light cheesecake. 

I am so thankful for my simple yet happy birthday celebrations with my loved ones. I cannot ask for more. This is a good balance to my stressful work life.
