14 Jan was mom-in-law's birthday, and we celebrated with her by having a big feast at Royal Garden Hotel. I did not have a good appetite on that night, but i did reserve some rooms for the delicious desserts.
Before I arrived the hotel, i went to Maxim's Cake Shop to buy a piece of packaged cake in return for a birthday candle. So when we are having tea and coffee before we got the bill, ah lun surprised mom with a lit-up little cake somewhere under the table (not very hygenic though). Not long after, the pianist played Happy Birthday song, but mom-in-law believed that the song was for her. What a coincidence!!
What a great evening, and i again found out that the seniors are actually having a bigger appetite for buffet. They kept eating until the very very very last minute.
This is the 4th year WS organizes this event for the clients and media. But this is the first time for me to visit the Happy Valley Racecourse. I only realized the horses can run so fast until tonight, it is so much fun even though i did not win any money! It's good to catch up with friends, Anna, Edward Suen and Teresa Hui this evening too.

熊貓是老爺的心肝寶貝, 因為牠真是為"狗"忠厚老實, 中文程度高(達小學程度聽力), 在任何情況下都忘我地保護主人. 就算遇上大狗, 每次都唔記得自己細粒過人而死衝過去, 膽色過人. 又因毛色黑白分明, 身型龐大而被稱為熊貓, 牠亦遺傳了爸爸的倒及齒......
黑妹, 又名北妹(因祖籍香港以北的大陸), 是熊貓的親生阿媽, 性格鬼祟, 是一名膽小鬼, 與兒子性格成強烈對比. 除了心口有白色毛毛以外, 渾身是光澤黑色短毛, 曾有無知行山人士誤以為貓. 近日更四處"中"眼訓, 不論是站著還是躺下來都是無處不睡. 大部份時間更是唔記得自己係熊貓的媽咪.
