I finally saw the rainbow...but it showed up in my hotel room in Bangkok. :)

When i sent through the picture to Ah Lun, he just sent me to sleep with this video.

Coran Boutique Spa, Bangkok

The spa is running a 50%off discount for all treatments booked online. The spa was quite full on Saturday, so I have only got a 2-hour treatment.

I go for a aromatherapy massage plus a facial. The treatment was nice but I just don't like the size of the room. It's relatively small and it makes me feel that I am still in Hong Kong.

I cannot complain more because it's only HKD400 for both massage and facial. I cannot get a facial with this price in HK!

The spa is a bit old, and it looks different from the photos in the website. In the online gallery, everything is so white and new. But the fact is the wood gets damaged if its exposed to the sun for a long time.

Anyway, it's a fun and relaxing experience as I have not tried this type of spa centre.

The shop front is quite pretty though. I love the simple design they have adopted. Before I leave, two cats just having a nap there. It is Saturday, right?

Rainbow

It worths recording the day as 8 people in my FB and Instagram network saw the rainbow. I cannot tell how much I felt being left out as I have missed such a beautiful rainbow today!! I am writing the blog in the car on the way home, just hoping I will see it in Kwun Tong. I just got blue sky now!! I am not satisfied today :(((

Happy Fathers Day

Sister invited parents and us to their village home for a delicious lunch. My sister and her bf were so hospitable and we had so much food.
I hope dad was happy about the little celebration.

Happy Birthday to Kung

We had another happy meal at kitty's palace. Home feel cuisine was just lovely. We were served with delicious soups, various signature dishes, 3 kinds of fruit (watermelon, cherry and lychee). Meanwhile, I bought a cake from Agnes b, and we are so happy with the special edition dinosaur cake. It's very tasty too, its made of pistachio and hazelnut. Yummy!! I also sent Jennifer a grass rabbit. It's so nice that I also want to buy one...Eleana was driving too, and picked me and Jennifer from north point. It's a stable and joyful ride.

Happy birthday to Wong Knife

Another great gathering with BFF in the occasion of Joyce Wong's birthday.
We were split up in 2 groups in a long table of a Korean bbq restaurant. Food was managed by two chefs, TonTon and Joyce Ip.

Well, Joyce Ip was taking care of the cooking for jw, momo, Connie, me and herself. While TonTon was taking care of ball, flora, Donna and herself.

Being seated in between Joyce and TonTon, I cannot be attracted by the food grilled by TonTon. On a contrary, food on our side was a mess. The meat were cut and spread out everywhere!! Wakaka! And I also ate one prawn and scallop not fully cooked....

It's a fun night out but we all became so smelly afterwards. I still smell the meat flavour in my hair after two rounds of washing!

Anyway, happy birthday to Wong Knife!!

Vet Visit

Kailan, why your skin problem never get recovered?
We were taking her for some regular injections, at the same time, vet found out that her skin has some bacteria AGAIN!!
Ok, medication will last for two weeks. It was not a great start yesterday as she has been throwing up two times. Hope u are doing better today!

Tai Mei Tuk & Kwun Tong (June 8)

I got a compensation leave on June 8, Friday. Ah Lun took me out to Tai Mei Tuk for a walk. Originally, we wanted to row a boat. But the weather was so hot and humid, we do not want to kill ourselves under the sun.
Sometimes, going out to the green and feeling the tranquility of the nature makes our day. Simple life makes happy people. We were just enjoying a simple walk, a cool beancurd dessert under the shade, taking great pictures.
It's such a nice area when you cannot see the weekend crowds.
We had so much time left in the end and were wondering where should we go. Finally we decided to visit the Kwun Tong promenade to see the copy cat tower. The garden was really nicely designed. The skyline viewing from there was so beautiful.
It's a simple but satisfying day! Loving it!
