Eczema (2)

OMG! I put megan to bed at 1am and she woke up at 2:30am, 3:45am and 5am last night. She woke up because she found her face and scalp too itchy. Poor her that she needed to suffer this pain. I wish I could get the eczema for her. 

For me, I did not know whether I slept or not. May be I had 2-3 hours in total but the quality was real bad. Things get worst always at the same time, I had to go back to the office for staff group photo in the morning. It's such a bad timing when I desperately need some sleep. 

I burst into tears when Ah Lun woke up at 5ish am, because I can feel the pain megan is having. 

When Tin Tin woke up at 6am, she had a flu. Well, we just had a sick dog recovering, now we have a sick maid and baby to look after. This is such a blur Monday. 

We both want prison break

Not only me want to prison-break, Megan always want to escape from our swaddling blanket! Everytime she does that, she will get her shoulder exposed, so funny. Megan is 溫碧霞！

Active Megan

Megan is an active baby, and she does not want to sleep most of the time. To help her sleep better, we decided to go out to see the interesting neighbourhood.

Still not feeling tired after the walk along the water promenade.

Got a spacious spot to keep megan on stroller next to us. 

Omg! He just had a big gulp of my soft ice cream. I love eating sweet thing more after pregnancy. In the past I preferred chips more. Interesting!!

On that evening, Megan slept so well. And we have more free time afterwards, and we could also visit the gym. Yeah!! 

Milestone // chewing

Megan started to chew her fingers these days. So we gave her Sophie the giraffe to chew. Though she still cannot manage to hold it perfectly, she quite enjoyed Sophie's company. 

Insisted not to sleep, so here's her second place to stay. 

She needed my assistance to put Sophie into her mouth. Otherwise Sophie ended up in her eyes. XDDD

Eczema

Both Ah Lun and I do not have skin allergy or eczema, we thought baby Megan will get rid of these skin issues. We are very disappointed to know that Megan has eczema and she's quite serious lately. She kept scratching her face all the time, and we had to swaddle her most of the time. In the wee hours, she could cry so loudly if we don't let her scratch. Together with the painful farting at 2am, 3am and 4.30am almost every night, it's draining me so much. I worried her so much and felt so uneasy as she's feeling itchy and miserable. 

We sent her to see her pediatrician at Union hospital on Monday, unfortunately we need to put strong medication on megan so as to settle her down. She's feeling better after two days. In the months of come, we have to monitor the humidity change and keep her moisturized on a regular basis. Hope she can grow out of it in the near future. 

Megan looked like this on Monday morning. I was scared to death and urgently arranged a doctor appointment. Luckily, someone cancelled one booking and we can see Dr Yim. 

5 applications of special ointment from doctor. Not yet fully recovered but situation has been improved a lot. 

My life saver

Recommended by Connie, this is my life saver during the blockage of milk ducts. This does keep my ducts happy. Clearing Connie's bottle earlier and I went to the shop to get a new one today. 

My quiet time with Megan

It's been a stressful week as baby does not sleep well in mid night. In addition, my breastfeefing journey has been difficult lately with blocked milk ducts and  sore nipple. There's blood found in the milk two days ago. 

Today, I decided to go out with baby by myself. Literally this is the first time for me to do this. I just went to the promenade to enjoy some sunshine and sea breeze. 

Strollers and rubbish bin are in the same colour! 

Such a breezy day. Mom looks tired. 

Finally she is sleeping on the way back!

I realized that Megan does not have enough "proper" clothes as she goes our more often nowadays.

Milestone // playing with saliva

She's been producing a lot of saliva lately. But today she has officially made some bubbles from her saliva and she's spitting a bit of her saliva as she practices her muscle around the jaws.

She is a happy bb all the time, now preparing to spit!
