Today, she suddenly walked non-stop. She also walked without any assistance for the longest period of time so far. 

Omg. What are these? 

When she's back home. She enjoyed Kailan's company. But they were doing their own thing without any interaction. 

After my usual baby bathing duty, i was out for bff gathering. We went to an upstairs restaurant in Kwun Tong. The food presentation is so nice but food quality is so-so. 

Ah yea kept complaining, haha. 

Ah yea said she will stop being our friends if she gets this bday cake. XDDDD 

What a nice Saturday gathering with friends. It's such a happy evening. 

Ah Lun had a nice evening too, he went to have dinner with his garage friends.

Saturday Oct 10

It's one year old immunization day. Daddy is off so I get a helping hand. 

Today it will be tough because she knows the injection hurts. We will look like we are not saving her from the injections. 

Ah Lun held her tight last round, and he felt very bad because baby cried seriously last time. This round, he said I will need to hold her. Haha. I am the bad guy on that day. 

The nurses are working so slowly delaying the injection time. That's quite annoying. 

After all the crying, she felt so tired on the way home. Lately, she's not letting daddy to hold her, making Ah Lun felt puzzled and sad. Baby, you have to hug your daddy as long as you can later as a compensation. 

She's 9.475kg, just standing at the 75 line in the curve.  

Sunday Oct 11

Let her try the full fat cow milk today. If she has no problem with her poo poo, we will introduce it during the morning snack time. 

Today, I filled up the play area with cushions. It's fun to be rolling over here and there. Finding mom hidden from cushion is fun too. 

These two babies are fun to watch at. 

She wants a full banana again! We have to stop her. 

Shoes shopping! We always let her go bare feet to feel the floor. But as she is walking more frequently we have to buy her shoes. Great milestone. But she is not happy with the new balance shoes!! Typical toddler tantrum. As per the books say, toddlers have zero sense and had lots of frustration as she develops. Hopefully she will go through this stage soon.

Milestone// Megan's First Birthday

Wow! Time flies. We have been parents for one year. Milestone for everyone!! 

Since Megan does not know what's going on, we decided not to throw a birthday party for her. Having a simple family celebration is the best and good enough. 

To make sure I will remember this important day, I have applied an afternoon off. Our usual client call with Dubai is at 1pm, but now it's delayed, so my afternoon was ruined because I had to be on the call from 3-4pm. 

Ah Lun picked me up, we went to central to collect some balloons. Heavy rain makes traffic worse. We also spontaneously decided to bake a simple cake for Megan so we bought a box of cake mix and went back home by 3pm. 

While I was having the call, chef is busy in the kitchen making the pound cake. 

He is always good in surprising us! He is not making a normal pound cake! He's making a cake in the shape of number 1.

You know I only visualized a pound cake without cream. The end product was too amazing, and It's like he's doing this effortlessly. 

Cake by daddy! Mommy needs to make the next cake, the whole idea is already making me scared. But Ah Lun said he had the idea already. He's a baker, artist and architect...

Megan was soooo happy! Kailan is already staying beneath the chair, but not captured in the pic. Just waiting for a chance....

Daddy's two hour hard work was well paid off. Our hearts were just melted, like the cream on top. 

We did not let her to smash the cake in the end because Ah Lun made the cream and cake. So much oil and milk in there, so we'd better stop her after a while. We don't want megan to have any digestive problems. 

Pick it up, put it down, and repeat 10 times

Kailan did not get any cake, but smelling Megan's hand is already putting her in heaven. 

Megan is either distracted by the balloon or the dog. These pictures are great memories for everyone. 

Ah Lun shared the photo with Tin Tin with a touching message. I was touched too. Very heartfelt thanks to our helper. This family cannot be run smoothly without her as we could be so busy at times. 

Oh by the way, megan could walk a few steps without assistance a couple of days before her birthday. We were so happy like witnessing her first rollover so long ago!! 

Saturday, Oct 3

A date cannot be forgotten. Megan's first nursery application day

We thought there will be a long queue. But the kindergarten has plans for that. The whole process takes only 5 mins. 

So happy that we have so much time left. We went to tsuen wan for breakfast and shopping at Yata. 

Kailan wants that smoothie too

She started to explore everything. She does not like toys anymore, deeply in love with all kinds of rubbish. 

Sunday, Oct 4

Sunday breakfast: half a banana, and cauliflower with egg. 

She started to take control more, so we cannot force her eating anymore. 

She did not eat much so I gave her some baby cheese to make sure her calcium intake is adequate. 

The sleeve bib is purchased right in time. Things get very very messy these days. 

Going out on T3. Today we are going to Yum Cha. Nothing can be shared with her. 

Don't know how to use the spoon now. but she's learning. 

It's such a big mess, but cannot be captured here. Needs lots of patience. 

Pasta with salmon and broccoli was made by daddy, we added in 60ml formula milk.

When we took Kailan's toy, Kailan will fight with us. 

If megan took her toy, she just let her. She's so caring baby Megan. 

Kailan also loves to stick with megan. Sweet. 

Keep practicing walking in the corridor. 

A hot bath was followed to end this Sunday. It's a long day, great that Ah Lun is off and he's helping me. His peak season is coming, he does not have this luxury soon. 

Hayden's 100th Day

Megan came after the midday nap. We came here at 3pm and the magic show started not long after our arrival. 

Megan is too young to be involved but she's watching. 

She's standing quite well now. She made two steps at home today by the way

Amazing! Ball ball has successfully attracted Megan to sit on her lap. The trick is Thomas The Train straw cup?!?!

Megan started to relax a bit at the sofa. 

After that, she wanted to explore the venue but she gets frustrated as she cannot walk. Had to calm her with food. It's a success all the time for big eater Megan. 

Happy birthday Hayden! Ah Lun almost forgot how to hold a newborn while I did not have a chance to do so.
