CNY 2016 - Chor 2 (Feb 9)

Megan met her grandma at the dim sum restaurant. This little eating monster had so much food on her own. Whatever fall into her bowl will be consumed by her quickly. We can see her skill of using the spoon improving day by day. 

Being a toddler, it's difficult to confine her at the high chair for long. We took her out to the park outside the dim sum restaurant. She released her energy before we went back to the seat. 

  She's attracted by her reflection. 

She started to run a bit lately. Which means she will be getting more mobile in the future....

After the morning meet-up with mom-in-law, Megan was taken back home for nap, while we were out to my mom's place for 開年飯

We thought we will have a break on Chor 2. But in the end, we always think of Megan while we are out. That's difficult for us to get away from Megan for a long time. 

We had some sweet family time with Kailan. That already made three of us extremely happy. 

What Megan was holding is a bag of prawn crackers freshly made by mom. She just broke the crackers down into tiny pieces. 

After wow wow (dog) and meow meow (cat), she's pronouncing yue yue (fish). She loves this book all about fishes. 

That's very sweet to see them together though there's still no interaction between them. 

Oh papa is reading a story to Megan. You can see after switching so many books, we ended up reading this Yue Yue book again. 

That's all for my Chor 2. Very quiet and lovely. 

CNY2016 - Chor 1 (Feb 8)

Wakaka! This baby is throwing tantrums lately due to teething. She's crying for milk this morning. 

The Chinese dress ordered online just fit her. 

She was carrying an orange everywhere.

Ah Lun standing in between his old and new cars. The old car is now with dad in law. Great arrangements so we could still meet our beloved cube. 

CNY 2016 Laisee Collection

I am still keeping this tradition though I am so busy at work or personal level. Luckily, all the family dinners were arranged beforehand, and our own family dinner was done in late afternoon to fit Megan's schedule. 

I always wanted to get this done earlier, but I end up burning the midnight oil for this Laisee design, AGAIN!!! 

Why? I had to visit the shop and get some inspirations from the materials I have got. 

I am quite happy with this as I am a polka dot freak. 

Sunday - books and cats

After my business trip and recovery from a serious flu, I am getting back to my old Sunday routine. 

I thought of taking her to the park in the beginning, and I ended up in the public library. 

She loves eating this bread. 

She accompanied me to take a breakfast

She loves picture books so much. A great way to save some book buying budget. 

The library visit was making her very tired. 

She's sweating seriously but in deep sleep. 

Since she practiced saying meow meow lately, I decided to take Megan to visit Cat's place to meet with her cats. 

Megan just needed some time to warm up. She's okay with the cats and humans in the house. 

Funny to capture this. They look like lions outside HSBC. 

Third Interview - Cannan Kindergarten Tsuen Wan

It's the third and last interview. She's performing the best I think. 

Let's warm up before the interview. You look so stylish, Megan. 

She looked so tiny in the room, very cute.

She was tested by transferring the nuts and macaroni from one bowl to the other. That's her strength really, because she used the spoon so well every day. 

Let's go out with Daddy as he's off in the afternoon.

It's her milk time and we need warm milk. So we got her milk at Starbucks. So costly. $28! May be I paid $20 more than I need to. 

That's a very eventful Saturday. 

Megan loves reading

This is the favorite book of Megan's. 

She will throw tantrums if she cannot get it in the morning. 

She's flipping while she's drinking milk. 

She knows most of the animals, and will grab the toys to match with the drawings. This, I am always increasing my animal toy collection. 

Currently she loves frogs so much as we have a plastic cartoon frog on the top of our cabinet. She will put a soft little frog on top of the illustration. 

She also loves being challenged and questioned. Where's the rabbit, and she can find it from the toy cart. 

She knows how to speak mama and papa, 汪汪（dog), 貓貓 (cat). She knows how to point the trees from the pictures.  

What's next? She's such a quick learner. 

Kailan sat down after Megan has left. Such a cute dog. Poor Kailan, Megan always bullied her. 

Jokes

It's been a long while I have not shared jokes here. 

Ah Lun has always been funny and it's good to be with him. He's especially good in teasing me when I am under tremendous stress. 

A few days ago...the temperature was so low that it's only 3 degrees in Tsing Yi. 

That Sunday night, he said, lucky you, you don't need to go out tomorrow (Monday). I said why?? 

He said it's just announced the school for retarded kids will be closed due to extreme weather.

Megan is also bringing us so many jokes these days. She knows a lot of things now, but just don't know how to speak. 

Lately, she wanted to touch the heater. Tin tin says it's hot. The next thing she did was to blow the heater. When we are serving meals to Megan, we said it's hot. We and Megan will blow to the food to cool it down. That's the action she associated with the word hot. It's so cute 

Second Interview - Cannan Kindergarten Kowloon Tong

Megan was asked to attend an interview on the coldest day. 

She was a bit shy in the new environment. She did not cry though, she just kept quiet and kept looking around. She enjoyed people watching actually, so the teachers asked a lot of questions, she just turned away, haha. 

Never mind, this is just an eye opening experience for her. 

She looked so cool. I got her shirt and leggings at a very discounted price from Muji Dubai. The down jacket is from Gap last year. 

But when we are out, her pretty outfit was covered up, haha. She was so excited after the interview. I will do more warm up next time. 

Such a big campus. We are waiting for Ah Lun to pick us up. 

There will be another interview on the coming Saturday. Good luck Megan. 

最窩心的湯

Ah Lun made the soup for me before he's off for midnight work. 

It's so sweet to come home to see the soup after a long long stressful day. 

Most importantly, this soup is super powerful in curing our serious cough. 

Really grateful and I cannot thank him more. 

回家12:30am了，喝了兩碗阿倫弄的海底椰瘦肉湯，馬上止咳，勁！

After that, it's good to see Megan sleeping soundly. It's good to go to bed with such a full heart. 

Racing Night 2016

January is a terribly busy month. Our company's annual event is happening in Jan this year, but I was also engaged in a business trip in Dubai. 

I think my life has not been busier ever. 

The support system at home is in place to make me feel better. 

I finally got really sick after my hectic Dubai trip, because 2 nights out of 3 in my trip, we were splitting sleep on the plane and in the hotel. Let's say 3hrs on the plane, 4hrs in the bed, then straight to start breakfast meeting at 7:30am. It seems that 2016 will be a challenging year. 

Anyway, Racing Night was over finally last night, it's time catching up with other client work. 

Corporate and digital team, so big now. 

Racing Night committee... Biggest ever in my racing night history. 

We have an in-house designer now, so all the collaterals and production items were arranged by her. Things are much prettier and holistic. 

Boss looked like the fortune teller we are hiring. He's doing a forecast for me. 

Core team. Three of us covering each other. Great team work. 

Celebrating the year of monkey. This is my idea, and it's executed nicely. Happy!
