My new nick name...

We are doing grocery shopping tonight after dinner. We enjoyed going downstairs together to shop. It's kind of a date for just two of us.
We grabbed everything we need, and then i said i will go buy "脆脆" which means crisps, heading to the aisle selling chips. Then Ah Lun responded from afar: 你真係中國脆脆.
Me stuck for 5 seconds and did not bother to think after a long stressful day.
I asked him, what does that mean? The moment i found out what he is referring to made me laugh out loud sooo much! I guessed i had frightened the other man standing next to us.
中國脆脆 means 蛋散!!!
阿倫，你真係正宗蛋散

Sick Megan

Too hard to see Megan suffer, and she had fever for two days. We thought she's recovered, but actually she started to develop coughing. 

During these 4 days, she did not not poop but luckily she had it today before bath time. Hopefully, she's getting better tomorrow. Ah Lun will see doc with her if she keeps coughing. 

Appetite was not great at all. She started to eat very little and only take liquids, eg milk, yogurt, water. 

She looks completely fine, but cough occasionally. 

She looks tired, as she's not sleeping well when she's sick

Megan's breakfast time

Due to the date last night, I missed the chance of bathing Megan. So I spent more time with Megan's this morning to compensate. 

It's too bad that I cannot upload videos here, she's talking a lot these days, eg mama's clothes, 公公婆婆 and my sisters' names. 

She looks so seriously in general. She inherited his father look.

Wednesday Date #9 - June 1

We both will take turn to recommend restaurants for our weekly date. This week, I have a say!! 

I suggested Beans cafe in Tsuen Wan. It's supposed to be a popular cafe, but we are still not satisfied with the food and value. 

We love sitting at the bar table for chatting. This is the lychee and rose soda for me. We were having dinner when the sun has not been set. That's summer time. 

Omg! Portion was so small...taste, just so-so

Supposed to be the recommended item, but it's not special at all. Disappointing!!

The carbonara spaghetti was sitting in the seat next to us. Too much food to be accommodated in the small bar table. 

If there's banoffe pie, we will order it. But it's not as good as Italian tomato's version. 

Chocolate lava cake cannot go wrong! 

The bill was $495. Not worth it!!

Humpty Dumpty

She loves Humpty Dumpty so much. This is the new nursery rhyme book I purchased. She wanted it so much last night, and kept asking for the book during the sleeping routine. 

Now she got the book the first thing in the morning after she left her bedroom. 

Tin tin can let her finish her milk (at least 200ml) every morning. On Sunday, When I am on duty, she's just drinking around 120ml. 

Sitting down

When I greeted Megan the first thing this morning, she was sitting with all of her four toys at the corner. So cute. 

She lined them up and let them sit down. So funny!

These moments are so precious! 

阿倫驚人的聯想力

阿倫昨天做了咸豬手加餸，好好味之餘，隨手拿起豬骨，說「用了保麗淨，食乜都得」，我立即笑到人仰馬翻。我不能不概嘆阿倫的聯想力及幽默感。

可能其他人並沒有覺得好笑，原因是感受不到原先廣告女主角賣力演出。阿倫給力的表演實在太似廣告嬸嬸，笑死了！

中場加插我完全想不起保麗淨個名，然後叫了「愛麗潔」，再笑了很久很久。

好了，大概沒有人好像我們會拿一個久違了的廣告笑這麼久，這個廣告的喜感就在於嬸嬸大力吃脾，當時推出廣告的時候，我們已經常常笑了。如今，阿倫有機會重演，真是我們一星期的亮點。

謝謝保麗淨及豬脾帶來的快樂。救命，我一邊寫仲一邊笑，在小巴上變了一個怪乘客。

Wednesday Date #8 - 25 May

Luckily, we don't need to work tonight, so our date is on, yeah!!

Ah Lun is taking me to the HK old style steak house - Flying Eagle - tonight. The hand writing on the menu, the signage or the decor are still very old style, so cute. 

The restaurant is super tiny. When we ordered 3 sets, we requested to move to a larger table. 

This bread is as big as Megan's head. Soft and fresh, love it. Look at the curtain behind, it's 60s style. 

He is having two steaks at one time. So funny! 

On our way home, we met Leon Lai. 

Look forward to our next date. 

Weekend (May 21-22)

Who's the dog? 

Serving burger to Kailan

Papa sending us to play school. Not every time Ah Lun could make it due to his busy schedule, so we treasure it very much. 

Go karting for a while before papa left us. 

Megan is playing in the toy kitchen but she's like DJ-ing. 

Peekaboo! 

Sunday morning...... Kailan is patiently waiting for the bread. Normally she will get 1/4 of it. 

Yum cha with grandparents. Always a super fun activity for everyone. 

Always fun to watch them playing. 

When I was preparing her dinner and Ah Lun was not around, she suddenly wanted to get into the baby stroller instead of sitting in the high chair. So I put all the books and water next to her. She just wanted something new. 

At the play school, they taught the concept of opposites. That is the activity sheet finished by Megan yesterday. This was on the floor after playing. But interesting Kailan slept just next to the work sheet. On the work sheet, there's a big sleeping dog, just like Kailan. The work sheet helped Megan to understand asleep and awake. It's not a set-up, so it's hilarious to me. 

That's another busy weekend, but filled with love. 

Wednesday Date #7 - May 17

It's not Wednesday yet, but we cannot wait until tomorrow. 

Because we have a reason to celebrate. We just enrolled Megan into Cannan Kindergarten Nursery Class today, we have also successfully moved her to morning class. So happy now! 

I may need to work tomorrow evening so I am eager to move our date to Tuesday night. 

We visited a new cafe in Kwai Fong called Toolss. It's a stylish cafe selling stationery. It's sitting in an unknown alley in the back of Kwai Fong. Nice decor, but very bad sitting causing Ah Lun to complain so much afterwards. 

Such a great date tonight. Really look forward to our next date.
