Nice Chinese restaurant behind Time Square. It's upstairs and no pressure to hand out the table at all. 

Wheels on the Bus

This is Megan's favorite song. She  especially loves singing "babies on the bus goes wa wa wa, all the long" after she's crying or some other babies are crying. 

We therefore got the new picture book for her lately and we just need to sing the song a few times per day. 

Obviously Tin Tin is aware of this too, and she made a bus for Megan from a carton box. 

How sweet is she and she's really loving Megan. She's an art lover and Megan lover. 

Feeling thankful for her great service in the last two years. Yesterday marked her  second anniversary. 

Look at those details. Even the fine lines are cut out from the colour paper.

Crazy! 

Sunday (Sep 18)

We started the day early and met grandma and grandpa at Starbucks before 9am. 

Grandma gave Megan a free gift. It's an ice cream playdoh set. She's sharing the ice cream with her friends before lunch. 

After I sent Megan to sleep, ah Lun is so nice and cooked me a noodle even though Tin Tin is working today. Such a tasty noodle, love it! 

After her lunch nap, we had a messy play session. Let's do foot painting. She was so scared of making herself dirty in the first place. After some warm-up, she's having fun.

After that, I gave her a spray bottle to play. The water spray will dilute the paint, and it should be interesting. 

She kept trying to use the bottle and put the spray onto her body. That's so hilarious. 

Luckily Kailan was not interested. Otherwise the house will be full of colors!! 

She did ask Kailan to come over but Kailan was scared of that bottle and refused to come closer. 

After the clean up, What's next? 

Let's do painting in a bag. 

She's feeling less interested in this so we switched to singing nursery rhymes 

That's pretty much the end of our day. Glad to see daddy before her mealtime, and daddy was requested to sing the songs. Naughty daddy sang old McDonald in jazz style and rock style. That's very entertaining for me and tin tin. 

 

Sep 17 追月

As usual, I took her downstairs to have breakfast. We usually have a short stroll along the water. She's lately obsessed with ocean and ships. She spotted a boat and stood there for a few minutes. 

It looked like a forest but it's actually next to the water promenade. This place is small but it looks big compared to this little human. 

She looks like Ah Lun, it's like taking a selfie with her dad. 

After the morning walk, Tin Tin has prepared the lunch. We were welcomed by a butterfly. Haha

After lunch, we were getting ready for sleep. She picked daddy to read her a story. 

After the playgroup, we went to Kwun Tong to see the book sales. We got three books for Megan, and she was so upset if we did not let her to hold favorite book. 

We went to have early dinner nearby, and Ah Lun said they really offered great food. I agreed! 

Megan kept playing at mealtime these days. Luckily, she had a very big lunch and all these excitements made her full. 

Family selfie. We finished the dinner in one hour. What a rush! 

We ordered two steaks and they were cooked to perfection. 

She could not resist to read the book. It's about the wheels on the bus. These wheels are just magic. 

Sep 16 中秋

Papa needs to work today. But we had a short family swimming time in the afternoon. 

This is probably the last swim this summer. It's a bit windy and chilly.

Kailan is finishing her yoghurt everyday. Such a healthy dog. 

Megan loves to put dots with her red crayon. So I asked her what are these, she replied a few times these are apples. So I am taking a picture to record this. 

Ah Lun was sending this full moon picture on his way to work. How amazing. 

Sep 15 迎月

This is Megan's first mid-autumn festival that she can walk with her own lantern. 

Got her a rabbit classic lantern in LED lights.

She is a daddy's girl. 

On our way home... 

It's been just an hour evening walk, and she needs to go back home for shower and bedtime ASAP. Happy to have a great family time on this MAF eve. 

Friday (Sep 2)

As Megan is a so-called young baby born  after Sep, she will only go to nursery class in November after she's officially two years old. 

As she's jumping in the class half-way in Nov, we don't have a lot of days to accompany Megan to school. 

Because of this, I joined a playgroup to be held at Cannan Kowloon Tong campus. I really think this is a great arrangement, so she's going to school once a week for two months before her nursery class starts. She had a chance seeing other kids going to school in the same campus. 

It's less educational than Nottingham, and it's really fun. I am very contented with this arrangement and I call this an orientation programme. Haha. 

The whole purpose is to let her speak more Cantonese, it's so hard to speak Cantonese to her as Tin Tin is the primary caretaker. I am sure she will get used to the Chinese environment once she goes to school. 

Saturday (Sep 3)

Morning started like this. Lazy. 

After that, I am rushing to the spa. Just clearing my money there - had a body massage, manicure and pedicure. 

The view is superb! 

When I had finished all the treatments, we rushed home to pick up Megan for the playgroup. When papa is coming to pick up her daughter, megan and Kailan were so happy. He looks like a hero to us, we welcome papa home like he's an Olympic medalist. 

Megan is clingy these days. So papa will have to say good bye to Megan in a short time. We cannot make the departure too long. 

By the way, Its a new term starting in September, so we are meeting new friends. We had four little boys as classmates and Megan becomes the only girl. 

She had a complete change in this new term. Amazing! She's spelling loudly with Ms Angel. So pleased to see her progress. 

After the playgroup, we meet connie's family at our club house's playground. 

Rain rain go away come again another day. 

This parents are tired!! It's a hot day. 

It's a super great ending of Saturday.
