Morocco - Day 1

The flights took so long, and we arrived Casablanca in 20 hours after we left hong kong. The good thing is we got the hkg-dxb sector upgraded, right before we board the gate. Phew!
After we have landed Casablanca, we met our driver Mohamed and he drove us to the town in blue called Chefchaouen. After another 6 hours of driving, we finally checked into our hotel at 8pm.
The mountain city was so cold that the temperature should had fallen below 5c! We were so desperate to have a hot shower! Although we stayed in the best hotel in town, the hotel is just so-so. Ah Lun had a cold shower in the end, and I was advised not to take the risk. What I could do is to wipe my body!
Our journey started off in an adventurous style. When we hope to get a good sleep, I was woken up by a HK call and a few chickens. Because of the jet lag, we went out to take pictures of the starry night! It was so pretty as there was no light pollution in the mountain.

Weather was nice upon arrival.

This was the first kitten we saw in Morocco, spotted him in our petrol station stop on the way to Chefchaouen. 

Finally, we have arrived the hotel around 8pm local time. It's very late for this mountain city. 

A very simple room, but it's already very good in the mountain. 

I love the key chain of our room key. Cute and raw. Photo taken in the bathroom. Look at the little details! So lovely. 

Karena's 2-month birthday celebration

It was a fun experience having traditional pun choi in a heritage site. This is my first time having pun choi too.
Ah Lun was coming late, and everyone just pushes him to eat. I feel bad for him indeed. As the dishes are quite greasy for him, he could not wash down so much food as usual.
Karena was a mature baby, with lots of hair and quirky facial expressions.

My Last Business Trip in 2012

I travelled to Beijing in less than two days. Love short trip because I m missing my families.
Do u know it's much more expensive if the ticket validity falls to 2 days? The economy class ticket to Beijing for 48 hours costs $5500. Very interesting finding.
Kerry Hotel is where I stay, got a room upgrade. It's the best gift fort flight delay and traffic jam.

Home cooked dinner by ME!

I always don't have confidence in cooking. But this 鎮江骨is really amazing, I m surprised with the results. The taste is like what we are having in the restaurant. The only room for improvement is to buy some fatty ribs next time. The pork I bought today was so lean that it's a bit more chewy...

Thanks to excolleague Amanda to teach us making it. Love it!

Amanda was cooking the dish with AMWAY pot, so if we are using normal work, it will take a little bit longer time.

A random surprise

This marker for glass surface was bought during my Bangkok trip. I saved this for a few weeks for this random surprise.
Unfortunately, the marker was not very fine, and I don't like the effect...
But anyway, just finished the writing on a weekday morning in 15 mins. So I was running 15mins late further for work.

芥蘭置業了！

上個星期，我家個廁所要換（其實我們入伙時買錯了），換完之後，阿倫個腦又高速轉動，用了個舊盒改建了一間小狗屋給芥蘭。 除了有圓拱大門，還有田字小窗。so cute!

小狗十分開心，幾乎全天都在屋裡面！
我們還在想幫狗屋裝修，所以這還未算是完工的新屋。

不過在香港這地產興旺之地，芥蘭都可以置業，都係大新聞！

Panda Bread Making (Oct 28)

I initiated this very cute panda bread making class, and surprisingly a few BFF girls want to join me.

The class was taking place in Fotan and it took us 4 hours to finish the class. It's not easy at all, because we do not have any control over the baking part. So the panda head is tilted or the eye was dropped in the end. Carrie said her panda looked like a cow, that's so funny!!

But anyway, it's a really fun class and it just costs $180 per person.
